미흑깨'는 2006년에 국립작물과학원 영남농업연구소에서 육성한 품종으로 내병성은 약하지만 다수성 품종인 '유성깨'에 내병성이 강하면서 다수성인 '수원131호'를 교배한 후대에 고품질 다수성인 '경북1호'를 1994년에 3원교잡하여 육성한 품종으로 표준품종에 비하여 수량성이 높고 총아미노산 함량이 많으면서 검정색 착색도가 진한 고품질 품종이다. 경장은 125 cm이고, 주당 삭수는 77개이다. 1,000립중은 2.57 g이고 기름함량은 표준품종보다 약 4
A new sesame variety 'Miheuk' was developed from Yeongnam Agricultural Research Institute in 2006. Cross was made by 'Kyeongbuk 1' with high quality and F1 line of 'Yoosung' with weak disease resistance and 'Suwon131' with high yields capacity & disease resistance, followed by pedigree selection, yield test and RYT by the sesame breeding team at the National Institute of Crop Science and Yeongnam Agricultural Research Institute from 1999 to 2006 to 2006. The variety shows higher amino acid content and more dark seed coloring than that of check variety 'Yangheuk'. Average stem length and the number of capsules per plant were 125cm, 77 respectively. It's 1000 grains weight was about 2.57 g indicating 0.20 g lower than that of 'Yangheuk', and it's oil content is about 45.8% which is about 4% higher than that of check variety. 'Miheuk' also contained 17,000 mg/100 g of total amino acids. And it's dark color density (L* Value) of seed coat is 22.87 which is about 15% lower than that of check variety. The average yield of 'Miheuk' is 96.8 kg per 10a at the national-wide regional performance.
