본 연구는 살풀이춤에 내재된 이미지를 대단위 성격특성용어를 통해 탐색하고, 살풀이춤에 내재된 성격이미지 구조를 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 살풀이춤 이수자 10명을 대상으로 살풀이춤의 성격 이미지를 잘 설명하는 성격특성용어를 추출하였으며, 120명을 대상으로 성격 이미지의 구조적 다차원성을 알아보기 위한 일련의 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과 95개의 살풀이춤 성격 이미지 용어는 10개 요인의 50용어로 압축되었으며, 최종적으로 7개요인 21용어가 확인되었다. 나아가 7개 요인에 대한 위계적 특성을 분석한 결과, 살풀이춤이 갖는 성격 이미지는 정서적 역동성과 형식적 정련성의 위계적 모형 구조가 단일차원 및 고차원 모형에 비하여 타당한 모형으로 확인되었다.

This study aims to investigate character image embedded in Salpulyi dance by extracting character image experienced in Salpulyi dance performances with image characteristic terminology. To this end, we have extracted personality characteristic term from 10 Salpulyi dance majors, and carried out a series of exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) aimed at 120 people to explore multi-dimensional structure in Salpulyi dance image character. Through these analytical researches, 95 Salpulyi dance personality characteristic terms are found to have connotations of 10 factors and 50 terms which were eventually resolved into 7 factors and 21 terms. In addition, it was verified that personality characteristic structure inherent in Salpulyi dance can be better explained by hierarchical structure model with an emphasis on vitalizing nature of tension and relaxation, rather than first-order or other higher-order structure model. Finally, we compared our results of a hierarchical characteristics in Salpulyi dnace image character with those of previous studies, and discussed the emotional dynamic and ceremonial good training of Salpulyi dance image.
