본 연구는 우수 및 일반 남녀 하키선수 총 144명을 대상으로 개방형 질문지를 통하여 선수들이 평상시 훈련과 시합상황에서 느낀 지도자 리더십을 첫째 신뢰, 둘째 대화, 셋째 만족, 넷째 팀 사기, 다섯째 팀 응집 관점별을 긍정과 부정요인으로 분류하여 사례별로 분석하였다. 대표경험을 기준으로 우수와 일반으로 분류하였고, 내용분석은 반복 숙독 후 동일한 원자료끼리 묶고 다시 유사한 내용끼리 범주 및 차원화 하였다. 신뢰 긍정요인은 여자우수 및 일반은 나만 믿어, 격려를, 남자우수 및 일반은 솔선수범, 언행일치, 격려 순으로 높게 나타났고, 부정요인은 남녀 우수, 남녀일반 모두 폭언 및 폭력을 가장 많이 언급하였다. 대화 긍정요인에서는 여자우수 및 일반과 남자일반은 배려, 경청 및 이해 순으로 남자우수는 존중받을 때, 경청 및 이해 순으로 높게 답하였다. 대화 부정요인은 여자우수 및 일반, 그리고 남자우수는 이기적, 배려 부족 순으로, 남일반은 배려부족, 무시, 그리고 대화단절 순으로 나타났다. 만족 긍정요인은 남녀우수 및 남여일반 모두 칭찬 받을 때를 가장 높게 언급하였다. 팀 사기 긍정요인은 남녀우수 및 남여일반 모두 솔선수범, 격려, 그리고 칭찬 받을 때를 언급하였다. 팀 응집긍정요인은 남녀우수 및 남여일반 모두 단체운동을 강조하는 것이 가장 높게 나타났다.

This study is based on an open survey on the total of 144 male and female hockey players, consisting of superior or mediocre athletes. The survey asked how the players feel coaches or leaders' leadership in an ordinary training and a game situation. We classified the result into 5 aspects, 1) Trust, 2) Communication, 3) Satisfaction, 4) Team morale, 5) Team's power of unity, and analyzed each aspect's reasons further into positive and negative ones with its cases. We classified the players into the superior and the mediocre based on whether he or she has been a member of the national team, and analyzed the contents of the answers after repeatedly reading them. We combined the answers with considering same original materials and then categorized them and marked levels on them based on similar contents. The positive reasons on Trust are: 'trust me', and 'encouragement' from the female superior players, and 'taking initiative & setting an example', 'consistency of speech', and then 'encouragement' in order of high score from the male superior players. The most negative reason on Trust is 'harsh language and violence' from all the players. The positive reasons on communication are: 'care', 'listening closely', and 'understanding' in order from the female superior and the female mediocre players plus the male mediocre players. The male superior players said 'being respected', 'listening closely', and 'understanding' in order of high score. The negative reasons on Communication are 'selfishness', 'lack of concern' from the female superior and the female mediocre and the male superior. The male mediocre players mentioned 'lack of concern', 'ignorance', and then 'lack of communication' in order. The positive reason on Satisfaction is 'being praised' from all the objects. The positive reasons on Team morale are 'taking initiative & setting an example', 'encouragement', and 'being praised'. All the object emphasized collective exercise is the best for the Team's power of unity reason.
