본 연구는 유진, 오보선(2009)에 의해 개발된 무용 정서지능 척도(DEIS)의 위계적 구조와 집단동일성을 검증하였다. DEIS는 자기정서인식과 타인정서인식, 정서표현, 정서조절, 정서활용의 5요인, 16문항으로 구성되었으며, 총 739명의 무용전공자(고등학생, 대학생, 전문무용수)들이 DEIS에 응답하였다. 두 개의 1차 모델(1요인과 5요인)과 2차 모델(1요인과 2요인)을 평가하기 위해 확인적 요인분석(CFA)을 실시하였으며, 가설로 세운 1차 5요인과 2차 2요인의 DEIS 모델들이 CFA 결과에 부합하였다. 5요인 DEIS에는 두 가지 고차원 영역(기본 및 응용 정서지능)이 반영되어 있으며, 집단(고등학생, 대학생, 전문무용수) 간 DEIS의 동일성을 분석하기 위해 다집단 CFA를 실시하였다. 측정 결과를 분석하여 DEIS의 집단 간 동일성이 확인되었으며, DEIS가 세 집단 모두에 유용하게 사용될 수 있음이 검증되었다. 세 집단 간에는 유의한 차이가 존재하였는데, 전문 무용전공자들의 DEIS 요인별 정서지능이 대학생이나 고등학생 그룹에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 DEIS가 갖는 위계적 구조와 집단 동일성을 검증함으로써, 본 척도가 한국인 무용전공자들의 정서지능을 측정하는 데 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to validate hierarchical structure and group invariance of the dance emotional intelligence scale(DEIS) developed by Yoo & Oh (2009). The DEIS is consisted of five-factor 16 item scale, including emotional recognition(selmsf and other), expression, control, utilization. A total of 739 dancers(high-school, college, professional) co, ceted the DEIS. A series of CFAs were conducted to examine the two first-order models(one factor and five factor) and the two second-order models of the DEIS(one factor and two factor). The results of CFAs revealed that the data fit the hypothesized first-order five-factor and second-order two-factor models of the DEIS reasonably wel hyphe five DEIS factors reflected the two higher-order do,ains(bgh-scand aotlied emotional intelligence facder fgroup CFA was conducted to analyze invariance of the DEIS across the three dance groups(high-school, college, professional dancers). The results of the measurement confirmed invariance of the DEIS across the groups, indontrong the DEIS would be useful for all the three groups. There were signifontnt differences among the groups. The DEIS factors of professional dancers had higherhe vels of emotional intelligence as compared with the college and high-school dancers. The results of this study suggest that the DEIS possesses hierarchical structure and group invariance useful to measure the emotional intelligence of Korean dancers.
