본 연구의 목적은 내러티브 기반 일반수업 모형을 개발하는 것이다. 교육과정의 핵심은 수업이다. 따라서 광범위한 교육학 연구 분야 중에서 수업방법에 대한 내용이 상대적으로 많다. 이러한 교육학 연구는 관점의 다양성, 방법의 복수주의에 기인하여 이루어진다. 본 연구는 교육학 연구의 특성인 다양성과 복수주의 원칙에 따라 새로운 수업모형을 구안하게 되었다. 새롭게 구안된 내러티브기반 수업(NBI)모형은 다음의 절차와 내용에 의하여 수행되었다. 첫째, 기존 수업모델들에 대한 비판적 검토, 둘째, 연구주제 관련 전문가들을 대상으로 아이디어를 발굴하는 아이디어 마이닝, 셋째, 연구주제 관련 텍스트에 대한 비판적 검토를 통한 텍스트 마이닝, 넷째, 학생 대상의 양적/질적 자료수집 분석을 통한 데이터 마이닝, 다섯째, 모형개발을 위한 근거모델 검토, 여섯째, 연구주제 관련 심리학, 철학이론 등에 대한 검토 등이다. 이들을 기반으로 본 연구에서는 일종의 시안 (試案)적 모형을 제시하였다. 이상의 비판적 검토결과의 핵심은 ‘리더십, 어프로치, 모델, 내러티브’ 등의 개념들을 교수학적으로 유용하게 차용하는 방법이다. 이를 감안하여 수행된 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기존의 수업모형은 각각 나름대로 특장 (特長)이 있으나 메타-이론적 성격의 모형이 부재하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 NBI모형은 바로 이러한 문제점을 해결하고 나아가 새로운 모형개발의 또 다른 근거모델로서 의미가 있다. 둘째, 향후 지속될 수업모형 개선 혹은 개발과정에서 내러티브 적용의 필요성과 가 능성이 확인되었다. 셋째, 내러티브기반 수업모형이 내포하는 강점·약점 등에 대한 비판적 검토들이 지속적으로 이루어질 때 제시한 모형의 현장적합도 및 교수학적 의미가 향상될 것이다.

The purpose of this study is consideration for developing narrative based instruction model. The core of curriculum in school is instruction(or teaching & learning). So, investigative survey on instructional contents, articles on method are important more than any other fields in educational research. In general, educational research conducted on the base of diversity, methodological pluralism. By this principle, this study was performed for developing new model on instruction. Making the NBI(narrative based instruction) model which is projected as a renewal model was conducted as followings. Firstly, critical review on existing instructional model, secondly, idea mining by interviewing with education experts for getting their thinking, thirdly, data mining for analysing quantitative/qualitative sources which collected by surveying for school student and academic journal, fourthly, critical review on ground theory/model for developing new model, lastly, consideration on psychology and philosophy concerned with this study. Through above process, researcher suggests a draft model. The result of critical review on concerned multi resources is the method of borrowing the idea(leadership, approach, model, narrative based) for developing new model by effect, A drawn result performed by this consideration is as followings. Firstly, existing instructional models have a merit and uniqueness respectively, nevertheless, there are not meta model as general one, so this study purposed the solution on that problem, going forward in educational research. Secondly, the necessity and potentiality on progressing instruction theory or developing narrative concerned instruction model is verified by this study.
