A Study of Influence that Values of University Students Who Major in Fashion Would Have on Satisfaction of Their Major and Level of Course Decision
본 연구는 패션 관련 학과 대학생들을 대상으로 가치관이 전공만족도와 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향에 대하여 파악하고자 하였다. 또한 전공만족도와 진로결정수준의 상호 관계를 분석하여 대학교육을 통한 전공에 대한 만족, 그리고 인성 및 진로 지도에 도움이 될 수 있는 정보를 제공하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 패션 전공 관련 학과의 2년제, 4년제 대학생들이었다. 연구결과, 가치관은 물질지향 가치관, 사회관계지향 가치관, 자아성취지향 가치관, 실용지향 가치관, 감성지향 가치관, 타인의식지향 가치관의 6개 요인이 추출되었다. 전공만족도는 전공만족, 관계만족, 교수법만족, 교육만족, 인식만족, 수업만족의 6개 요인이 추출되었다. 진로결정수준은 진로결정확신, 진로미결정의 2개 요인이 추출되었다. 가치관의 물질지향 가치관을 제외한 5개의 요인들은 전공만족도의 6개 요인들과 다소 유의미한 관계를 나타냈다. 또한 물질지향 가치관은 진로 결정수준과 유의미한 관계를 나타냈으며, 사회관계지향 가치관은 진로결정확신과, 자아성취지향 가치관은 진로미결정과 각각 유의미한 관계를 나타냈다. 전공만족도는 진로미결정과 유의미한 관계를 나타냈다.
This study was made to consider influence that values of university students who major in fashion would have on satisfaction of their major and level of course decision. In addition, the study aims to analyze the mutual relationship between satisfaction of their major and level of course decision so that they can be provided with helpful information for personality and course guidance. Students of two-year-course college and four-year-course university were objects of the study. Considering result of the study, their values could be extracted to six factors, which would be classified to material-oriented values, social relationship-oriented values, self-accomplishment-oriented values, practicality-oriented values, emotion-oriented- values, and altruism-oriented values. Satisfaction of major could be extracted to six factors, which are composed of satisfaction of major, satisfaction of relationship, satisfaction of teaching method, satisfaction of education, satisfaction of recognition, and satisfaction of lecture. Level of course decision could be extracted to two factors, which are confidence for course decision and pendency of course decision. Regarding their values, the other five factors except for material-oriented values would show somewhat meaningful relations with six factors of satisfaction of major. In addition, material-oriented values would show meaningful relations with level of course decision, social relationship-oriented values with confidence for course decision, and self-accomplishment-oriented values with pendency of course decision. Satisfaction of major would show meaningful relations with pendency of course decision.
