본 연구는 급속히 변해가는 고령화 시대에 늘어나는 뉴 실버세대들에게 모바일 어플리케이션 제작에 있어 그에 맞는 청각 신호 제작 방안에 대하여 제안 하고자 한다. 뉴 실버세대를 위한 모바일 어플리케이션에서 사용되는 사운드 제작시 청력상태를 고려하여야만 한다. 본 연구에서는 고령자들이 많이 사용하는 복약 알림앱을 제작하여, 알림음을 제작함에 있어 효율적인 정보제공을 위한 알림음 제작 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 사운드디자인 제작시 실버세대의 청력상태를 고려하여 필요 청각신호 구성요소를 문헌 조사를 통해 소리 크기, 음색, 음고 등의 필요항목을 설정하였고, 이에 맞는 사운드를 제작하였다. 제작된 사운드는 스팩트로그램 및 FFT(Fast Furier Transform) 분석을 통해 선정된 항목들에 부합한지 분석하였다. 실버세대들을 위해서는 청력상태 등 별도로 제작 및 고려되어져야 하는 측면들이 많음에도 불구하고 시각적인 GUI(Graphic User Interface)에 비해 소리에 대한 청각 인터페이스 속성들에 대한 연구는 많이 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서 제작된 사운를 통해 실버세대를 위한 모바일 청각 인터페이스 제작 예의 하나로 제안하며, 실질적으로 필요한 청각 요소들을 제안하여 실제 활용하는 방안을 제시하는 데 목적을 둔다. 향 후 실버세대를 위한 청각인터페이스 및 사운드 디자인시 보다 효율적인 정보 제공이 가능하리라 기대한다.
This study proposes a method of producing auditory signals suitable for mobile applications in the rapidly changing age of aging silver generation. Hearing conditions must be considered when producing sound used in mobile applications for the silver generation. This study is to propose a method of producing a notification sound for efficient information generation by producing a medication notification application that many elderly people use. When designing a sound design, we need to consider the hearing condition of the silver generation and set necessary items such as sound size, tone, and pitch by literature review. The analyzed sound was analyzed by spectrum analysis and FFT (Fast Furier Transform) analysis. Although there are a lot of aspects to be made and considered separately for the silver generation such as the hearing condition, research on the properties of the auditory interface for the sound is insufficient compared with the visual GUI (Graphic User Interface). We propose one example of the mobile auditory interface for the silver generation through the sound produced in this study and expect to be able to provide more efficient information in the auditory interface and sound design for the future silver generation.
