본 연구는 청소년 성장에 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 부모들의 코칭역량에 대해 선행연구들을 검토, 정리, 분석하여 청소년 부모코칭역량 개념을 재정의하고 이를 측정할 척도 개발을 위한 연구이다. 이를 위하여 부모역량, 청소년 부모역량, 코칭역량 관련 문헌 및 기존 코칭역량과 관련한 선행연구들을 분석하고 초점집단면담(FGI)을 진행하여, 청소년 부모의 코칭역량의 개념을 정의하여 구성요인을 도출하고, 예비문항 121문항을 구성하였다.
구성된 예비문항으로 코칭 전문가 10인에게 내용타당도를 검증하고, 청소년 부모 20인에게 예비조사를 실시하여 최종 104문항을 도출하였다. 최종 정리된 예비문항으로 청소년 자녀를 둔, 경기, 충남, 경북 지역의 청소년 부모 207명을 대상으로 수집된 데이터로 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 7개 요인의 30개 문항을 추출하였다. 추출된 문항으로 확인적 요인분석을 실시하여 모형적합도를 살펴보았으며, 수렴타당성과 판별타당성을 확보하였다.
연구결과 자기성장역량, 자녀이해역량, 경청스킬역량, 실행촉진역량, 목표수립역량으로 명명한 최종 5개 요인 23개 문항의 청소년 부모의 코칭역량 척도를 확정하였다.
The purpose of this study is to develop a scale for measuring the coaching ability of young adolescents by reviewing, organizing and analyzing previous studies on the coaching competency of parents who have the greatest influence on youth growth. In order to do this, we first analyzed previous studies related to parent competence, youth parenting capacity, coaching competency literature and existing coaching capacity, and conducted a focus group interview (FGI) to define the concept of coaching competency Factors were identified and the preliminary questionnaire was composed of 121 items.
The preliminary questionnaire was used to verify the content validity of 10 coaching experts. The data were collected from 207 adolescents in Gyeonggi, Choongnam, and Gyeongbuk provinces. The data were collected from 30 items of seven factors through exploratory factor analysis. The validity of convergence validity and discriminant validity were confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis of extracted items, and the scale of coaching competency of adolescent parents of 23 items of final 5 factors was confirmed.
