목적 : 본 연구는 현행 국내 작업치료사 국가시험의 문제점과 타당성을 확인하고, 현재 보건의료 상황에 적절한 작업치료사 국가시험 과목개선 실행방안을 모색하고자 한다.
연구방법 : 본 연구는 대한작업치료사협회에 등록한 작업치료사를 대상으로 실시하였다. 연구 진행은 2002년 작업치료사 국가시험 과목 타당성 연구와 국내·외 작업치료사 국가시험 과목 및 실시방법에 대한 선행연구를 바탕으로, 앞으로 국가시험에 반영될 건의사항 및 의견은 예비조사(5회)를 실시하였다. 조사결과에서 일치되지 않은 의견은 패널토의를 통해 조정하였다. 이러한 결과를 종합하여 작업치료사 국가시험 과목개선 실행방안에 대한 본 조사는 임상경력이 5년 이상 되는 작업치료사들을 대상으로 이메일과 우편으로 설문을 발송하여 총 95부를 회수하였다. 결과분석은 각 항목에 대한 기술통계를 실시하였다. 마지막으로 공청회를 거쳐 종합적인 의견을 수렴하였다.
결과 : 연구결과 첫째, 작업치료사 국가시험 과목은 작업치료학과 실기로 분류하고, 각 과목은 대항목, 중항목, 소항목으로 구분한다. 둘째, 작업치료학은 작업치료 관련 기초, 손상의 측정과 치료방법, 일상생활 활동과 사회참여, 질환별 작업치료와 작업치료 이론, 작업치료 관련법규 및 전문가 자질로 분류한다. 셋째, 실기과목은 대항목으로 작업치료 실행에 대한 내용을 다루며 중항목은 작업기반의 활동들, 목적있는 활동, 작업수행을 위한 전 단계 치료로 나눈다. 결과를 종합하여 국가시험 과목 개정건의안을 도출하였다.
결론 : 본 연구에서 도출된 국가시험 과목 및 항목은 현행 작업치료 및 미래의 요구를 반영한 국가시험제도 개선에 기여할 것으로 사료되며, 작업치료사의 치료 영역과 과정을 정립하고, 작업치료 서비스 대상자들에게 작업치료서비스의 범위를 이해시키는데 도움이 될 것이다.
Objective : The purpose of this research survey was to investigate the current problems and validity of the Korean Occupational Therapy National Licensing Examination (KOTNLE), and to prepare basic framework for the development and improvement of KOTNLE.
Methods : The participants were occupational therapists registered with Korean Association Occupational Therapists (KAOT). First of all, the study on the validity of subjects in KOTNLE (2002) and an outside occupational therapist licensing examination were reviewed. We conducted preliminary investigation suggestions five times regarding KOTNLE, and a panel discussion tried to then coordinate their different views. E-mail and mail with questionnaires were sent to 300 licensed occupational therapists who have experienced clinical training for over five years, and 95 responses in total were collected. Analysis of the data was done
using description statistics. Lastly, we held a public hearing and collected extensive opinions.
Results : The findings can be summarized as follows: 1) Examination subjects should be divided into occupational therapy and a practical examination. 2) Occupational therapy can be divided into five categories: basic knowledge, evaluation and treatment of impairment, activities of daily living and social participation, occupational therapy in selected conditions, and occupational therapy theory and occupational therapy law or specialist temperament. 3) A practical examination can be divided into three categories: occupational-based activity,
purposeful activity, and preparatory methods.
Conclusion : The subjects and items of the national examination, which are deduced from this research, will contribute to the improvement of the national examination system, reflecting its current occupational treatment and future demand. Also, it will help build the area and process of the treatment of occupational therapists and help patients of occupational treatment to understand the area of occupational therapy service.
