어린이공원은 아이들에게 심리적 안정감을 주는 중요한 장소이나 2018년도 서울시 내 안전도 C등급을 부여받은 공원 중 어린이공원이 절반이상을 차지한다는 결과가 나왔다. 이에 본 연구는 CPTED와 공원이 위치한 지역의 시설환경을 같이 분석하여 어린이공원의 안전도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 대상지는 2018년도 서울시 내 안전도 C등 급과 A등급을 부여받은 어린이공원으로 선정되었다. 관련 논문과 문헌을 통해 CPTED 개념과 도시 범죄특성을 고찰하고 국내외 CPTED 가이드라인을 검토하였다. 고찰한 내용을 기반으로 CPTED 체크리스트, 이용자 행태조사, 공원이 위치한 지역의 시설환경을 같이 분석하고 종합하여 결과를 도출하였다. 연구 결과 어린이 공원의 안전도에 있어 CPTED와 공원이 위치한 지역의 시설환경 둘 다 영향을 미치는 것으로 판단되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 어린이공원을 계획하고 조성하는데 있어 유용한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.
A children's park is an important place to give children psychological stability. However, in 2018, children's parks accounted for more than half of C-graded parks in Seoul. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the safety of children's parks by examining CPTED and the local facility environment where the parks are located. The study sites were children's parks that has been received safety grades C and A each in Seoul in 2018. CPTED concepts and urban crime characteristics were reviewed through related papers and literature, and domestic and international CPTED guidelines were reviewed. Based on the reviewed contents, the CPTED checklist, user behavior survey, and the facility environment of the park areas were analyzed, and results were derived. The results show that both CPTED and the local facility environment where the parks are located affect the safety of children's parks. The results of this study can be used as a basic data for planning and constructing children's parks.
