현대 대중문화에서 두드러지는 점은 두 가지 이상의 요소가 합쳐진 크로스오버 현상이다. 음악 분야 또한 마찬가지로 그중에서 일렉트로닉 음악은 세계 여러 민속음악 요소와의 크로스오버를 통하여 다양한 변화를 만들어가고 있다. 그러한 융합의 성격을 가지고 있는 민속음악 중에는 우리나라의 국악도 있다. 본 논문에서는 크로스오버 음악가 양방언의 작품 중 일렉트로닉과 국악의 크로스오버 곡 ‘정선아리랑 엮음아라리’의 리듬 구조를 분석하고 국악 장단의 활용 방법을 연구 하였고‘정선아리랑 엮음아라리’의 리듬 제작 방식을 확인하기 위해 리듬의 각 파트를 악보화하고 접목된 국악 장단과 비교 분석하였다. 리듬 구조를 단계별로 악보화 하여 제작 과정을 파악할 수 있었으나 분석에 한계는 존재하였다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 일렉트로닉 음악과 국악 장단을 접목한 리듬 제작 방법의 새로운 접근법과 방향을 제시하였다.

The salient point in modern popular culture is the crossover phenomenon that combines two or more elements. The field of music, as well as within it, electronic music is making various changes through crossovers with many folk music elements of the world. Among them, Gugak (Korean Traditional Music) is representing Korea. In this paper, I analyzed the rhythmic structure of the crossover song, which was combined electronic and Gugak, ‘Jeongseon Arirang – Yeokeum Arari’ in the work of the crossover musician Yang Bang Ean, and studied how to use the Gugak Jangdan. To confirm the rhythm production method of ‘Jeongseon Arirang – Yeokeum Arari’, each part of the rhythm was scored, and compared and analyzed with the grafted Gugak Jangdan. I was able to score the rhythm structure in stages and grasp the production process, but there was a limit of analysis.Through these studies, I have presented new approaches and directions for rhythm production methods combining electronic music and Jangdan.
