본 연구는 플럭 사운드를 중심으로 만들어지는 음악의 구조적 특징과 음색을 분석하기 위해서 음악에서 플럭 사운드가 중요한 요소로 사용되어지는 저스틴 비버의 ‘What do you mean?’과 에드 시런의 ‘Shape of You’를 선행 연구 곡으로 선정하고, 각 음악에서 주로 사용한 신디사이저 음색과 리듬의 특징을 분석하였다. 그 결과 플럭 사운드는 진폭 엔벨로프의 매개 변수에 따라 다양한 음색으로 나타나는 것을 알 수 있었다. 진폭 엔벨로프는 디케이 타임의 설정 값에 따라 음색의 변화가 큰 특징이 있으며 플럭 사운드는 많은 제작 방법으로 만들어지며 널리 사용되어지고 있다. 현재 발전하고 있는 여러 가지 음악 제작에 있어서 후속 연구가 더해져 더 다양하고 차별화된 제작 기법이 연구되고 발전되길 기대해본다.
