이 논문은 이윤기의 소설 ｢숨은그림찾기 1-직선과 곡선｣에 대한 공식적인 문학교육 방식을 고찰하고 개선 방안을 제안한다. 이는 청소년의 현실과 연계하여 그 정신적 성장을 유인하는 문학교육, 인문교육과 제휴하는 문학교육 방안을 축적하는 작업의 일환이다. 공식적인 문학교육은 이 작품을 통해 타자 이해의 윤리를 주입하면서, 정형화된 타자 이해 교육의 패턴을 추수한다. 이는 학생들에게 공감을 유발하지 못하 며, 작품의 이해를 교란한다. 이 논문은 타자를 이해하자는 죽은 구호보다는 인간의 내재적 한계인 시각과 인식의 자기중심성에 주목하기를 제안한다. 이는 청소년의 심리적 특징인 자기중심성과 연계하여 교육할 지점을 마련한다. 문학교육은 청소년의 실제 현실을 연상시키면서 심리학적 지식을 보조 자료로 도입할 수 있다. 또한 청소년이 당면한 현실적 문제에 대한 통찰력을 기르고 마음을 다스리는 데 도움을 주기 위해 문학교육과 인문교육의 제휴는 유용한데, 그 자료의 축적에 기여하고자 이 논문은 시각과 인식의 자기중심성에 관한 동서양의 철학적 사유를 참고 자료로 제시한다.

This paper examines the way of formal literatureeducation for Lee Yun-ki's novel "Finding Hidden Pictures 1" andproposes ways to improve it. This is part of an effort to build up ways for literatureeducation that can reflect realities of young people so that it induces their spiritualgrowth and promotes the literature education that can be linked to humanitieseducation. The formal literature education follows the pattern of formalizedtype that looks at education regarding understanding others, while at the sametime introducing the typical ethics of understanding others through"Finding a Hidden Picture 1". However, this does not help generateempathy from students. Rather, it confuses them and hinders their understandingof the text. This paper proposes that attention be paid to the egocentricity ofsight and perception, which are inherent limitations of human beings. This thenwill provide a place for education in conjunction with the adolescents’ self-centeredness,one of their psychological characteristics. With literature education, psychological knowledge can be introduced into educational content. The partnership between literary education and humanities education is useful. To contribute to the accumulation of related data, this paper presents the philosophical thoughts of the East and the West on the self-centeredness of sight and perception as reference materials.
