이 연구는 학생을 직접 對面하지 않는 원격 수업 방식이 수업에 수동적으로 임하는 학생들의 태도를 능동적으로 변화시키고, 주입식 교육에서 벗어나 질의응답이나 토론 활동과 같은 학생 중심 수업을 운영하는 데에 효과적이라는 생각에서 출발한다. 그래서 학생들이 학교에 오기 전에 교사가 직접 제작해서 올린 온라인 콘텐츠를 미리 보고 관련 과제를 자기주도적으로 수행한 후, 학교에서 와서는 교사와 함께 질의응답이나 토론 등과 같은 활동을 수행하는 블렌디드 러닝을 수업에 적용해 보았다. 이 연구에서 다룰 원격수업은 E-learning과 교실 수업을 결합한 블랜디드 러닝(Blended learning)의 발전된 형태인 플립드 러닝(flipped learning) 기반의 수업 방식이다. 이 연구의 목적은 플립드 러닝 기반의 중학교 한문 원격수업을 통한 학생 중심 수업을 시도하는 데 있다. 연구자는 2020년 1학기에 원격수업을 운영하면서 교육은 단순히 지식만을 전달하는 것이 아니라 교사와 학생, 학생과 학생 간의 상호작용과 사회적 관계 형성에 도움이 되어야 한다는 점을 새삼 느꼈다. 2020년 11월 현재 대한민국의 교사들은 담당 과목에 상관없이, 원격수업의 범위 내에서 어떻게 학생 참여를 끌어내야 할지 고민하고 있다. 이 연구가 코로나19라는 위기에 대처하면서 학생 중심 수업을 꾸리고자하는 한문 교사들에게 도움이 될 것을 기대한다.

This study begins with an idea that a remote contact-free class method can change actively the attitude of students who passively participates in a class and, escaping from learning by rote, is effective in operating student-centered learning such as an activity for question and answer or a discussion. So, the author applied blended learning to a class by which students see in advance online contents that a teacher directly prepared and posted before they come to school and, after studying relevant tasks in a self-directed way, do such activity as question and answer or a discussion, etc. with teachers when they come to school. The remote class to be addressed in this study is a flipped learning-based class method which is a combined type of E-learning and classroom teaching. The purpose of this study is to attempt a student-centered class through middle school Chinese characters remote learning based on flipped learning. The author, operating a remote learning in the 1st semester in 2020, felt again that education shall not just simply transfer knowledge but contribute to forming mutual action and social relationship between teachers and students and among students. As of October, 2020, teachers in Rep. of Korea are worrying about how to lead students to participate in remote learning, regardless of the subject in charge. I expect that this study will be helpful to Chinese teachers who, coping with the crisis of Corona 19, try to attempt a student-centered class.
