본 논문은 학부 외국인 유학생을 위한 한국 한자어 교육 방안을 원격 수업 설계 및 운영 사례를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 대학에서 원격 수업의 중요성과 비중이 갑작스레 커진 상황에서, 대면 수업에 준하는 수업 효율을 유지할 수 있는 방안을 찾는 일은 중요한 과제 가운데 하나라고 할 수 있다. 이 과정에서 ‘외국인 유학생 대상 한자(漢字) 수업’이라는 변수를 고려하여 실제 대학 강의 현장에서 수업 설계와 운영에 반영하고자 하였다. 원격 수업은 그 특성상 대면 수업이 가지는 현장성·동시성·양방향성·상호교감성을 완벽하게 재현해내기는 어렵다. 하지만 주어진 환경 속에서 대면 수업의 효율을 유지하고 원격 수업의 장점을 극대화하기 위한 노력이 필요하다는 점을 언급하였다. 코로나 19 이후 빠르게 변화하고 있는 강의 환경을 고려할 때, 본 연구를 하나의 사례로 삼아 후속 논의가 지속되기를 기대한다.

In this paper, I looked around the design and case studies in Chinese character education in the university in Korea. Especially I focused on education for foreign university students. As the importance and weight of online education in college has suddenly increased, we need to find a way to maintain class efficiency comparable to face-to-face class. In this process, a variable called ‘Chinese character class for foreign students’ was considered, while I was designing and running an online class. Due to its characteristics, it is difficult to completely reproduce the ambience, simultaneity, and mutuality of face-to-face classes. However, we need to maintain the efficiency of offline classes and maxmize the merits of online classese in a given environment. Considering the rapidly changing lecture environment since Corona 19, I hope that follow-up discussions will continue, taking this study as an simple example.
