국내 농업기계 산업의 경쟁력 향상을 위한 기초자료를 얻기 위하여 트랙터, 승용이앙기, 콤바인에 대한 국내 공급현황과 농업기계 보유 농가의 향후 교체구입 의향과 사용 만족도를 분석하였다. 1. 최근 10년간 정부 융자지원으로 국내에 공급된 주요 농업기계의 공급대수를 보면 2019년 트랙터 10.7천 대로 2011 년 이후 꾸준히 감소하고 있으며, 승용이앙기와 콤바인은 2019년 각각 3.6천 대, 2.1천 대로 10년전에 비해 23.4, 34.4% 감소하였다. 2. 반면 수입 완제품 농업기계의 수입실적의 경우 2019년 트랙터는 1,433억 원, 승용이앙기는 545억 원, 콤바인은 881억 원으로 2010년에 비해 47~648억 원 증가한 것으로 나타났 으며, 트랙터와 콤바인의 경우 대형기종이 차지하는 비율이 같은 기간동안 각각 32.3, 45.7%p 상승하였다. 3. 한편 농가의 농업기계 교체구입 의향을 분석한 결과 외 국산 농업기계를 보유하고 있는 농가의 구매 충성도가 국산 농업기계 보유 농가에 비해 트랙터 9.4%p, 이앙기 14.3%p 높게 나타났다. 4. 또한 농가에서 농업기계 교체구입 시 제조국을 선택하는데 트랙터의 경우 품질과 고장 관련 만족도가 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며(p<.001), 승용이앙기와 콤바인의 경우 품질, 고장, 사후 관리 만족도 모두 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다 (p<.05). 5. 결과적으로 국내 농업기계 공급동향과 농가의 농업기계 교체구입 계획을 고려했을 때 향후 농업기계 교체구입 수요 가운데 외국산의 점유율은 증가한다고 볼 수 있다. 이와 관련하여 국산 농업기계의 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해서는 품질 개선을 위한 관련 기술개발, 사후관리 지원 등의 소비자 인식 전환을 위한 노력이 요구될 것으로 보이며, 이를 위한 정책적인 지원이 필요한 시기로 판단된다.

The supply of tractors, riding-type rice transplanters, and combine harvesters by Korean government (as loans) has been decreasing over the past decade. By contrast, the import of agricultural machinery in 2019 increased by approximately 1.1 to 2.1 times compared to that 10 years ago. In this study, the supply trends and satisfaction levels with regard to agricultural machinery being supplied across the Republic of Korea were analyzed, and the results were used as basic data to improve the industrial competitiveness of domestic agricultural machinery. Based on an analysis of replacing agricultural machinery in farms, the purchase loyalties of farms with imported agricultural machinery (such as tractors and riding-type rice transplanters) were 9.4%p and 14.3%p, respectively—higher than those of the farms with domestic agricultural machinery. Furthermore, during the selection of manufacturers (for purchasing agricultural machinery), satisfaction over quality and occurrence of failure have a significant effect on the purchase of tractors (p < .001). Moreover, satisfaction over quality, occurrence of failure, and follow-up support have a significant effect on the purchase of riding-type rice transplanters and combine harvesters (p < .05). Therefore, technical development goals should be achieved to improve quality and follow-up support, enhance the competitiveness of domestic agricultural machinery, and change consumer perception.
