대중음악은 개성있는 뮤지션들에 의해서 여러 스타일의 곡이 만들어지는 현재까지 계속 변화 하고 발전하고 있다. 그에 따라 색다른 음색의 보컬리스트들이 출현하였는데 대체로 장르마다 대표적인 음색이 연상되어 진다. 마이클 잭슨은 그의 독창적인 보컬 기법을 사용함으로써 하드 록, 펑크, 디스코와 같이 보통 미성인 보컬이 주로 시도하지 않았던 여러 장르를 혼합해서 그만 의 독특한 음악 발표를 통해 확장된 미성의 보컬 표현법을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 마이클 잭슨 의 보컬 분석을 통해 그의 특징적인 보컬 기법을 찾고 이를 각각의 특징별로 나누어 분석한다. 그리하여 미성 보컬이 실제 연주에서 구체적으로 어떻게 사용하고 응용할 수 있는지의 방법과 그 사용 효과를 알아보았다.

The popular music in which various styles of musics are created by Individual artists has been continues to change and develop until now. Accordingly, vocalists with Unconventional voices have emerged and representative tones are often associated with each genre.By using his original vocal technique, Michael Jackson presented a vocal solo presentation by his unique vocal presentation by combining various genres such as hardrock and Punk, and Disco which with sweet voice usually did not attempt to do so. It was analyzed after dividing them according to their features and they were subdivided into detailed types by arranging effects according to the specific genre and position where the features are expressed. The result shows how to use these vocal techniques and how to apply them in detail in actual performance.
