우리나라는 낮은 출산율과 결혼 및 육아문제 등이 사회적 이슈가 되고 있어 본 연구는 어머니 요인과 영아의 사회정서발달의 관계를 알아 봄으로써, 이러한 문제에 도움을 줄 수 있는 부모교육을 위한 자료로 사용될 수 있도록 기여하고자 한다. 영아의 사회정서발달이 원활히 이뤄질 때 건강한 자아개념이 생기고, 조화로운 사회구성원으로서의 역할을 수행할 수 있다. 영아는 어머니의 정서표현을 통해 정서표현성의 규칙과 방법을 학습하기 때문에 어머니는 매우 중요한 요인이다. 또한 어머니가 자아존중감을 높게 가질 수 있다면 낮은 우울감을 갖게 되며 영아의 사회정서발달에 좋은 영향을 끼칠 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

In Korea, low birth rate, marriage and child-rearing problems are social issues, so this study aims to contribute to the use of data for parent education that can help with these problems by examining the relationship between mother factors and infant's social emotional development.,When the social emotional development of infants is smoothly achieved, a healthy self-concept is created. It can play a role as a harmonious social member. Mothers are very important factors because infants learn the rules and methods of emotional expressiveness through emotional expression of mothers.,Also, if mothers have high self-esteem, they have low depression and can have a good effect on the development of social emotion of infants.
