목적 : 본 연구는 정확한 처방에 의한 근용 안경 사용의 필요성을 알아보기 위하여 기성돋보기를 사용하고 있는 사람들을 대상으로 기성돋보기 사용자들의 변수를 측정하여 비교 분석하였다.
방법 : 연구대상자는 45세 이상 기성돋보기를 사용 중인 총 50명을 선정하여, 굴절검사와 최대조절력, 근용가입도, 근용 PD를 측정하였다. 또한, 사용 중인 기성돋보기 안경테 기준점간 거리와 안경렌즈 광학중심점간 거리를 측정하였다.
결과 : 기성돋보기의 구입 시기에 따른 가장 선명한 거리를 확인한 결과 구입 시기가 오래될수록 선명한 거리가 길어졌다. 기성돋보기의 안경테 기준점간 거리와 광학중심점간 거리를 비교한 결과 안경테의 기준점간 거리가 클수록 광학중심점간 거리도 커졌고, 광학중심점간 거리와 근용 PD가 2 mm 이상 차이가 나는 경우가 71.00% 인 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 양안시에 영향을 미치는 유발 프리즘을 확인한 결과 80.00%에서 BO △, 16.00%에서 BI △이 유발되는 것으로 나타났다.
결론 : 본 연구로 기성돋보기 안경과 실제 처방 근용 안경의 굴절력과 PD 차이로 양안시에 유발되는 사위로 인한 안정피로를 확인 할 수 있었다. 따라서, 눈 건강에 악영향을 미칠 수 있는 기성돋보기 사용을 예방하기 위하여 온라인을 포함한 기성돋보기 안경의 판매 기준과 안경사의 전문성 강화를 통해 국민 안보건 서비스의 질적 향상이 필요하다.

Purpose : In this study, in order to find out the necessity of using reading glasses according to the correct prescription, the variables of the users of the ready-made reading glasses were measured and analyzed for those who are using the ready-made reading glasses.
Methods : A total of 50 subjects over 45 years of age were selected, and refraction tests, maximal accommodation, near addition, and near PD were measured. In addition, the distance between center points of the ready-made reading glasses frames and the distance between the optical center points of the glasses were measured.
Results : As a result of checking the clearest distance according to the purchase period of the ready-made reading glasses, the clearest distance became longer as the period of purchase increased. As a result of comparing the distance between the reference points of the glasses frames and the distance between the optical center points of the ready-made reading glasses, the larger the distance between the reference points of the frames, the larger the distance between the optical center points. It was found that 71.00% had a difference of 2 mm or more. In addition, as a result of confirming the inducing prism affecting binocular vision, BO △ was induced in 80.00%, BI △ was induced in 16.00%.
Conclusion : This study was able to confirm the eye strain caused by the different refractive power and PD between the ready-made reading glasses and the actual prescription glasses for near vision use. Therefore, standards for selling ready-made reading glasses, including online and it is necessary to improve the quality of national security services by strengthening the expertise of optometrist to prevent the use of ready-made reading glasses which may adversely affect eye health.
