본 연구는 SDGs 지표 등 성과관리를 위해 활용되고 있는 지표 중 농촌개발 분야에 적용 가능한 지표를 선정, 초선 조사(baseline) 자료로 활용할 것을 권고함. 1. 성과관리의 목적은 사업 형성을 위한 초기조사부터 사업 후 지속적인 관리를 통해 대상국에 의해 운영되어 지속가능성을 높이고자 하는 것으로 향후 도전과제 임. 2. 농업 분야의 개발협력 사업의 성패를 판단하는 근거는 사업 후 지속적인 운영 여부라 할 수 있으며, 국제사회가 채택한 SDGs를 토대로 발굴 및 기획 단계에서부터 사후평가의 전 과정에서 SDGs 지표를 활용하는 성과관리 방안을 도입하여 지속가능성을 강화하고 효과성을 제고할 필요가 있음.

The main objective of this study was to suggest a new way to effectively utilize SDGs and existing indicators in international agricultural development cooperation. In addition, the purpose of M&E was to enhance sustainability of any projects through utilization of SDGs indicator for baseline survey and post-project management which might be one of future challenges in the area. In the agricultural sector, it has been very difficult to derive outcome from ODA projects due to unique characteristics of the area. Therefore, it is recommended to use proper SDGs indicators in M&E to increase the sustainability of agricultural ODA projects in the future.
