본 연구의 목적은 생활환경교육 프로그램이 여성의 면 생리대 사용에 미치는 영향을 알 아보는 데 있다. 이 연구에는 A시 관내 성인 여성 50명이 참여했다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생활환경교육이 면 생리대 사용에 영향을 미치는 것으로 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 생리 시 느끼는 불편감은 면 생리대 사용에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 조사되었다. 셋째, 일회용 생리대의 위해성에 대해 조사한 결과 45명(90%)은 들어 봤고, 정보 출처는 언론이 32명(64%), 교육 11명(22%)이라고 답했다. 넷째, 면 생리대 사용 을 망설이는 이유는 세탁 등 뒤처리가 어려워가 37명(74%), 생리혈이 샐까 봐 불안해서가 7명(14%)으로 조사되었다. 다섯째, 미혼보다는 기혼의 면 생리대 사용률이 높은 것으로 나 타났다. 면 생리대 사용률을 높이기 위해서는 생활환경교육 프로그램을 확대하는 것이 필 요하다. 본 연구가 여성의 건강과 지구의 건강을 지키는 데 활용되기를 바란다.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of living environment education program on women's use of cotton sanitary pads. Fifty adult women in A city participated in this study. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that living environment education had a statistically significant effect on the use of cotton sanitary pads. Second, it was investigated that the discomfort felt during menstruation did not affect the use of cotton sanitary pads. Third, 45 people (90%) have heard of the risks of disposable sanitary pads, and 32 (64%) from the media and 11 (22%) from education. Fourth, 37 people (74%) were hesitant to use cotton sanitary pads because it was difficult to clean up after washing, and 7 people (14%) were worried that menstrual blood would leak. Fifth, it was found that the use rate of cotton sanitary pads in married people was higher than that of unmarried people. In order to increase the use rate of cotton sanitary pads, it is necessary to expand living environment education programs. It is hoped that this study will be used to protect women's health and the health of the Earth.
