챗GPT는 학술 논문 요약, 프로그래밍 코드 작성, 수학 문제 해결, 발 표 자료 생성, 기사 작성 등 다양한 용도로 활용되고 있다. 국내에서도 신문기사 작성이나 학생들의 글쓰기 수업에서 챗GPT가 활용될 때 가짜 뉴스 양산이나 표절 등의 우려가 커지고 있다. 미국 대학들은 학생들의 챗GPT 사용 문제에 대응하는 방법을 모색하고 교육 방식을 개선하고 있 다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학 교양 철학 수업에서 챗GPT와 같은 인공지능 을 활용하기 위한 구체적인 수업 설계와 수업 활동을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 각 주차 별로 철학 윤리적 주제를 5개 이상 선정하였고 각 주 제별로 학습자들이 조별 활동, 챗GPT 활용과 글쓰기를 통해 비판적으로 사고하고 철학적인 주제를 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 학습자 참여 중심의 수업을 진행하였다. 또한 챗GPT를 활용한 이런 수업방식에 대해 11개 항목으로 구분하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 학습자들은 모든 항 목에 있어서 챗GPT를 활용하는 측면이 자신의 글쓰기 효용감과 수업의 이해도, 만족도 등을 높이는데 80% 이상 긍정적이라고 답하였다. 물론 챗GPT가 가짜 정보의 생성이나 인간의 사고력을 약화시킬 수 있다는 우 려가 있으나, 교수자가 수업 설계에 이런 부분을 보완한다면 신속하게 전체적으로 철학적 글쓰기의 틀을 구성하고 수업 내용을 보강하는데 긍 정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 인공지능을 적극적으로 활 용하여 철학교육을 위한 다양한 수업 설계를 위해 노력할 필요가 있다.

ChatGPT is being utilized for various purposes, including summarizing academic papers, generating programming code, solving mathematical problems, creating presentation materials, and writing articles. In South Korea, concerns are growing regarding the proliferation of fake news and plagiarism when The aim of this study is to propose specific course design and activities for using artificial intelligence tools like ChatGPT in undergraduate philosophy courses. To achieve this, we selected more than five philosophical and ethical topics for each week, and designed student-centered classes where learners engage critically with these topics through group activities, ChatGPT utilization, and writing exercises to enhance their understanding of philosophical subjects. Furthermore, we conducted a survey, categorizing 11 aspects of this instructional approach using ChatGPT. The results showed that learners responded positively, with over 80% expressing that the use of ChatGPT improved their writing proficiency, comprehension of the course material, and overall satisfaction.
