본 연구의 목적은 유보통합에 관한 유치원교사와 어린이집교사의 인식 조사를 통해 우리나라 유보통합의 구체적인 추진방안과 미래 영유아교육 정책을 수립하는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구대상은 C시 에 소재하고 있는 유치원교사 100명과 어린이집 교사 120명을 대상으로 총 220명이 설문조사에 참여하였다. 연구방법으로는 SPSS Statistics 25.0 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도와 백분율, 카이제곱검정 등의 통계분석을 실행하였다. 연구결과 유보통합의 의미에서 차이가 나타나는 문항은 총 8개였으며 유보 통합의 필요성, 유보통합 선도 교육청 시범운영, 유보통합의 우선적 추진 작업, 교사자격기준, 교사양성기관, 유보통합 후 교육·보육시간, 연령별 분 리방법, 교사자격 통합 후 제일 먼저 조정해야 할 과제의 문항이었다. 차 이가 나타나지 않은 문항은 2개 였으며 유보통합의 의미, 유보통합 후 기 관 운영형태 문항이었다. 현재 일부 시행되고 있는 유보통합 정책과 향후 추진 방안등이 발표된 상황에서도 각 집단별로 유보통합에 관해 바라는 내용과 인식에 많은 차이가 나타났다. 미래 유아교육의 발전을 위해 현장 의 목소리를 면밀히 살펴 각 집단간 갈등을 해소하며 영유아만을 위하는 유보통합 정책 수립에 시사점으로 제공되기를 바란다.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data necessary to promote early childhood education integration and establish future early childhood education policies thriogh a survey of kindergarten and daycare teachers’ perception of early childhood education and childcare (ECEC) integration. As a result of the study, there were a total of eight questions that differd in the necessity of ECEC integration, pilot operation of ECEC integration by lead education office, priority promotion of ECEC integration, teacher qualification standards, teacher training institutions, educationl and childcare hours after ECEC integration, age-based separation methods, and the most urgent challenges to address after teacher qualification integration. There were two items where no differences were observed, which were the understanding of the meaning of integration and the operational format of institutions post-integration. Despite recent policy announcements and future plans for ECEC integration, significant differences in expectations and perceptions were found among the different groups surveyed. To ensure the future development of early childhood education, it is important to closely examine the voices from the field, resolve conflicts between different groups.
