본 논문은 요한복음 3장 16절의 말씀을 중심으로 그 안에 내포된 ‘하나님의 사랑’에 대해 사도요한의 눈으로 살펴봄으로써 ‘하나님의 사랑’의 높고 크고 깊으심에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 요한복음 3장 16절에 나오는 ‘세상’에 대해 여러 가지 관점들에 대해 비교하여 살펴보고, 또 ‘이처럼 사랑하사’의 의미를 확인함으로써 우리를 향한 하나님의 사랑을 깊이 이해하고자 한다. 특별히 요한복음 3장 16절과 대조를 이루는 14-15절 말씀 중 ‘놋뱀’에 대해 한발 더 들어가 그 말씀 을 통해 지금을 사는 신앙인들이 깨달아야 할 것이 무엇인지까지 살펴보고자 한다.

This study aimed to examine God’s great and deep love by looking at God’s love contained in manly John 3:16. To this end, this study comparatively examined various points of view on the “world” described in John 3:16, and also tried to profoundly understand God’s love towards us by confirming the meaning of “Love like this.” Especially regarding the “bronze serpent” in the verses of John 3:14-15, which are contrasted with John 3:16, this study examined what the present believers should realize through the verses more profoundly.
