지금 우리들은 지난 오랜 시간 동안 단 한 번도 살아보지 못한 ‘코로나 시국’이라는 세상을 살고 있다. 이 코로나의 여파는 실로 대단하다. 정치, 사회, 문화, 특히 경제 부 분에서 엄청난 변화와 어려움에 직면해 있다. 또 이러한 세상적 어려움은 교회에까지 영향을 미쳐 신자가 교회에 모이지 못하는 것 때문에, 신앙이 흔들리고 예배가 무너지 며 교회 내에서의 교제(코이노니아) 역시 심각한 타격을 받고 있다. 이러한 현실 앞에 서 예배의 회복은 그 무엇보다 시급한 것이 사실이다. 그렇다면 무엇이 예배를 예배답 게 하는 것인가? 단순히 모이는 것만으로 예배의 회복은 가능해 지는 것인가? 기록된 말씀으로서의 성경과 보이는 말씀으로서의 성례전에 대한 올바른 이해와 회복을 통해 예배의 회복이 가능해 질 수 있다. 본 글은 이러한 예배의 온전한 회복을 위해 신자가 은혜를 받는 중요한 수단인 은혜의 방편(means of grace) 중, 특별히 과거 중세 교회 시대를 끝내고 종교개혁 시대를 열게 된 결정적 계기인 성만찬에 대해 로만카톨릭의 견 해와 종교개혁자들의 견해를 비교해 봄으로써 성만찬에 대한 올바른 이해를 돕고, 나아 가 작금의 꺼져가는 예배의 불씨를 살리는 데 작은 도움이 되기를 소망한다.

Nowadays, humans are living in the COVID-19 pandemic era when humans have never experienced for a long time. The effects of the coronavirus are enormous. People are facing huge changes and difficulties in the political, social, and cultural sectors, especially in the economic sector. The difficulties have effects on churches and so Christians cannot gather in churches. Therefore their faith is shaken, church service is collapsing, and also Koinoia (communion) within churches suffers greatly. In such a reality, the restoration of church service is one of the most urgent things. What can make church service like real church service? Will the restoration of church service be possible by simply gathering of believers? The church service restoration can be possible through proper understanding and restoration of the Bible as recorded God’s words and Sacraments as visible words. For full restoration of church service, this paper hopes to help arouse cause of the sinking church service as well as help the proper understanding of Sacraments by comparing the Roman Cathodic view with the religious reformers’ view on the Eucharist that ended the period of Medieval Church and became a critical opportunity of opening the period of the Reformation among the means of grace, which are the important means for believers to receive grace.
