개혁주의 교회론 연구
A Study on Reformist Church Theory
최근 코로나19(COVID-19)로 인해 전세계적으로 혼돈과 불확실성 속에서 종교에 대한 가치관의 변화를 겪고 있는 시점에서 우리 교회가 더욱 더 생각하여야 하는 것은 바로 “교회 란 무엇인가?”라는 근원적 질문이다. 이 질문에 대해 더욱 진지한 자세로 진지하게 답을 해 야 할 시대적 사명이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 우리가 추구하는 신학의 방향인 개혁주의에 대해 확인하고, 초대교회 때부 터 중세까지의 교회에 대한 생각의 변화와 종교개혁 이후 각각의 신앙고백서와 신조들에 나 타나 있는 교회론에 대해 살펴본 결과 어떤 시대라 할지라도 공히 공통된 하나의 생각이 있 었음을 발견하게 된다. 그것은 바로 “교회에 대한 세상의 기대”이다. 물론 교회는 이 세상에 속한 존재가 아니다. 이 세상 속에 살지만 하늘에 그 적을 두고 하 나님 나라의 법으로 사는 것이 바로 교회이며, 그것은 바로 하나님께서는 우리들이 이 세상 속에서 하나님과 하나님의 나라를 배우기를 원하신다는 것이다. 그런 교회에 대해 세상은 무언가 도움을 주기를 바라고 있다. 단순히 신앙을 통한 마음의 위안뿐 아니라 교회의 바로 섬을 통해 세상에 본을 보이기를 원한다. 교회가 이 세상 속에서 교회로서의 모습을 찾기 위해서는 바로 “기본”으로 돌아가야 한다는 것이다. 이것은 매우 간 단하지만 사실 매우 어려운 일이기도 하다. 교회가 교회답기 위한 시작과 끝은 말씀의 회복 을 통한 기본의 회복이다. 바른 말씀이 선포되어지고 그 말씀을 바탕으로 한 성례와 성찬이 베풀어지며, 그 위에 공의로운 치리가 이루어질 수 있다면 세상이 어떻게 변해 간다 할지라 도 우리 교회는 반석 위에 지은 집과 같이 흔들림이 없을 것이다. 그것이야말로 교회가 늘 추구하고 나아가야 하는 방향임이 틀림없다.
At a time when COVID-19 is causing changes in values of religion amid chaos and uncertainty around the world, what our church should ponder further upon is the fundamental question: "What is the church?" There exists a contemporary mission for us all to answer this question thoroughly in a more steadfast manner. Therefore, this study confirms the reformism, its direction of theology we shall pursue, which enables us to further examine not only the changes in the thoughts about churches from the early church era to the Middle Ages, but, more importantly, also the church theories in each confession of faith and creed after the Religious Reform. It could be reiterated as "the world's expectations for the church." Of course, the church does not belong to this world. Rather, it is the church that lives in this world but lives by the law of God's kingdom inherited from Heaven, and it is such that God wants us to learn God and God's Kingdom in this world. The world aspires to help whatever way possible for the above-described church. Author wishes to convey an exemplary lesson to the world not only through faith, but also through the righting of the church; in order for the church to find its appropriate status in this world, it must return to "the basic." It may sound very simple, but it is indeed extraordinarily difficult. The beginning and the end of church as it is supposed to be shall be through restoration of the basics by way of the restoration of Words. If the right Words are proclaimed, sacraments and sacramental rites based on them are upheld, and a righteous prayer can be achieved on them, then, no matter how the world changes, our church shall remain unshakable like a house built on a rock. That must be the direction the church should always pursue and move forward.
