본 연구에서는 청소년의 자아존중감이 사이버비행에 영향을 미치는가를 살펴보고, 이 러한 관계에서 사회적 위축과 스마트폰 의존이 순차적으로 매개하는 경로를 밝혀보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 한국청소년패널조사 2018(KCYPS 2018)의 제2차년도 조사 데이터 중 에서 중학교 1학년 코호트 자료 중 청소년이 모든 문항에 응답한 2,438명 중, 사이버 비행 경험이 있는 635명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 측정도구는 자아존중감, 사회적 위축, 스마트폰 의존, 사이버비행 척도를 사용하였다. 청소년의 자아존중감과 사이버비행의 관 계에서 사회적 위축과 스마트폰 의존의 매개효과의 통계적 유의성을 검증하기 위해 Hayes의 SPSS Process Macro (version 3.5.2) model 6를 사용하여 직렬매개 분 석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 자아존중감, 사회적 위축, 스마트폰 의존, 사이버비행은 모두 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 자아존중감은 사이버 비행에 직접적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 자아존중감은 사회적 위축과 스마트폰 의존의 순차적 매개효과를 통해 사이버비행에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 청소년의 사이버비행 예방을 위해서는 청소년의 개인적 요인에 관 심을 가져, 사회적 위축과 스마트폰 의존 수준을 낮추는 데 개입하는 방안에 대해 관심 을 가질 필요가 있음을 시사하고 있다.

In this study, we tried to examine whether adolescents' self-esteem affects cyberflight, and to clarify the path through which social withdrawal and smartphone dependence sequentially mediate in this relationship. To this end, among the 2nd year survey data of the Korea Youth Panel Survey 2018(KCYPS 2018), 635 out of 2,438 people who answered all questions by adolescents in the 1st grade of middle school were studied. The measurement tools used self-esteem, social withdrawal, smartphone dependence, and cyberflight scales. In order to verify the statistical significance of the mediating effect of social withdrawal and smartphone dependence in the relationship between adolescents' self-esteem and cyberflight, a serial mediating analysis was conducted using Hayes' SPSS Process Macro(version 3.5.2) model 6. The research results are as follows. First, it was found that adolescents' self-esteem, social withdrawal, dependence on smartphones, and cyberflight were all related. Second, adolescents' self-esteem directly affected cyberflight. In addition, it was found that self-esteem affects cyberflight through sequential mediating effects of social withdrawal and smartphone dependence. These findings suggest that in order to prevent youth from cyberflying, it is necessary to pay attention to individual factors of adolescents and to pay attention to ways to intervene in reducing social withdrawal and dependence on smartphones.
