사군자에 담긴 철학적 가치와 덕목을 ‘이물비덕(以物比德)’의 관점에서 분석한다. 이를 통해 사군자가 전달하는 자연과 인간 의 이상적 관계를 조명한다. 사군자가 자연의 속성을 예술로 구현하는 과정에서 나타나는 자연과 인간의 상호작용을 연구한 다. 자연을 모방하는 예술이 지닌 철학적 의의를 밝히고, 사군 자의 전통적 의미를 현대적 관점에서 재해석한다. 자연과 조화 를 이루는 삶과 예술의 가치를 현대 사회에 어떻게 적용할 것 인지에 대한 방안을 모색한다. 문헌 연구를 통한 역사적 맥락 에서 분석하여 동양 예술 전통과 사군자의 기원 및 발전 과정 을 중심으로 개념을 고찰하고, 동양 철학에서 자연과 예술의 의미를 파악한다. 동양 철학과 미학에서 중요한 역할을 하는 개념으로, 자연의 요소들을 통해 인간의 이상적 덕목을 표현한다. ‘매화, 난초, 국 화, 대나무’가 각각 지닌 특성과 그에 대한 해석은 고대 선비들 이 추구했던 인격 수양의 기준을 제시한다. 인간의 덕성은 자 연을 통해 배우고, 이를 삶에 실천함으로써 고결한 품성과 도 덕적 삶을 추구할 수 있다는 메시지를 전달한다. 이는 단순히 과거의 철학적 교훈을 넘어, 현대 사회에서도 실천할 수 있는 보편적인 지혜로서 중요한 가치를 지니고 있다. 본 연구는 사군자 이물비덕을 통해 자연과 예술의 관계를 깊 이 이해하고, 이를 바탕으로 자연과 인간의 조화로운 삶에 대 한 통찰을 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 접근은 동양 예술의 철학 적 깊이를 재발견하고, 현대의 삶과 예술에서 자연과의 공존을 실현하며, 자연을 재현하는 것을 넘어, 새로운 현실과 미학을 창조하는 예술로 나아갈 것이다.

It analyzes the philosophical values and virtues contained in the Four Grandsons from the perspective of ‘their virtues’. Through this, it illuminates the ideal relationship between nature and humans conveyed by the Four Grandsons. It studies the interaction between nature and humans in the process of realizing nature's properties as art. It reveals the philosophical significance of art that imitates nature. It reinterprets the traditional meaning of the Four Grandsons from a modern perspective. It seeks ways to apply the values of life and art in harmony with nature to modern society. It analyzes in the historical context of literature research to examine concepts centering on the Eastern art tradition and the origin and development process of the Four Grandsons, and to grasp the meaning of nature and art in Eastern philosophy. It is a concept that plays an important role in Eastern philosophy and aesthetics, and expresses the ideal virtue of human beings through elements of nature. The characteristics of each of ‘plum flower, orchid, chrysanthemum, and bamboo’ and their interpretation suggest the standard of character cultivation pursued by ancient scholars. Human virtue conveys the message that one can pursue noble character and moral life by learning through nature and practicing it in life. This has an important value as universal wisdom that can be practiced in modern society beyond simply philosophical lessons of the past. This study aims to deeply understand the relationship between nature and art through the virtue of the Sagunja foreign body, and present an insight into the harmonious life of nature and humans based on this. This approach will rediscover the philosophical depth of Eastern art, realize coexistence with nature in modern life and art, and go beyond recreating nature to create new reality and aesthetics.
