풍수는 전통적으로 인간의 주거 환경공간에 대한 지형적 상지기술의 논리로 적용되어 왔 다. 그러나, 풍수경전에는 지형적 공간구성에 따른 시각적 경관이외에 청각적 정보 인지에 따른 소리경관의 음향심리까지 제시되어 있다. 본 연구는 풍수경전의 소리 개념과 유형을 추출후 현대적 입지에서의 소음과 연계하여 그 시사점 및 적용가능성을 도출함에 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 풍수경전과 대도시들의 소 음지도 및 음향심리 연구자료를 중심으로 전통생태지식의 잠재성과 생명성을 현대적 관점 으로 적응·융합하여 재활용할 수 있는 가능성을 탐구 하므로써 지속 가능한 학문적·실천 적 가치를 현상적으로 제시하고자 한다. 연구 결과, 길한 소리와 흉한 소리로 구분되는데, 길한 소리는 주로 낮은 물소리, 북소리, 호각소리, 패옥과 칼 부딪히는 소리, 금가락지 울림소리, 닭 울음소리 등 금속성의 경쾌함 과 은은한 저음의 퍼짐 같은 양기(陽氣)의 발산-각음, 궁음 등의 영역이다. 그러나, 흉한소 리는 폭포소리, 곡소리, 흐느낌 소리, 원망 소리 등으로서 움츠러드는 음기(陰氣)의 수렴-상 음, 치음, 우음 등의 영역이다. 따라서, 들리는 소리에 따른 심리적 인식은 결국 인간 실존 의 문제와 귀결 될 수 있다는 점을 확인하였다. 오늘날 현대인들이 살고 있는 대도시 공간은 자연적인 지형과 자연적인 소리가 사라진 인위적 변형공간이다. 특히, 소음으로 인한 개인과 사회구성원간의 실존적 위협요소를 풍수소리경관의 전통지식으로 치유하여 생명력 있는 생태공간으로 재탄생할 수 있도록 풍수음 향비보-마스킹/로보포니-가 필요함을 현대적 시사점으로 제시하였다.

The Fengshui have been adopted a geological site technique for good energy shelter space traditionally. But the Fengshui Text showed both landscape and soundscape as psycho-acoustics in environmental space. The aim of this study is to suggest the Fengshui is the excellent traditional wisdom got to promote physical and psychological sense of wellness with philosophies of healthcare and healing in modern society. The contents of this study summarized and reviewed by several the Fengshui Texts. There were divided good sounds as a brook murmuring, a whistle, wit of a gem and a sword, a gold-ring, and a cry cock-a-doodle. It’s the wide dispersion sounds as metallic lightly and lower frequency called Yang-Qi(陽氣)-Kag[角], Gung[宮]. The bad sound as convergence, however, great water-fall, wailing, weep, and bitter called Yin-Qi(陰氣)-Sang [商], Chi[微], Woo[羽]. Therefore the recognition by a hearing sound result a problem of the human existence. The mega-city had lost the natural landscape and soundscape and had changed fully artificial transformation space. Consequently, its modern implication that the idea of Fengshui have kept for centuries, so its need absolutely to promote wellness space by the Fengshui-sound-bibo as the masking and the robophony.
