생태미학의 담론은 생태적 가치와 미학적 가치에 머무르지 않고 경관미학을 넘어선 더욱 확장된 개념으로 강조되고 있다. 본 연구는 생태미학적 조경설계의 개념과 중요성을 고찰하고 설계과정 에서 고려되어야 할 핵심 가치들의 상대적 중요도를 평가하여 생태미학적 설계요인의 중요도를 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 생태미학적 가치 평가 요소를 기반으로 프레임 워크를 구성하고 60 인의 전문가집단을 구성하여 AHP 방법론을 이용하여 분석을 수행했다. 분석결과 첫째, 전문가집 단은 생태미학적 가치중 생태적 가치를 가장 중요하게 평가하였고 예술적 가치, 기능적 가치, 그리 고 사회문화적 가치 순으로 중요도를 평가하였다. 둘째, 생태미학적 설계요인 16개 항목을 종합적 으로 분석한 결과 ‘시각적 아름다움’을 가장 중요하게 평가하였고 뒤를 이어 ‘치유회복의 환경제 공’, ‘풍부하고 다양한 식생’, ‘친환경적인 기술이용’순으로 중요하게 평가하였다. ‘접근성’과 ‘탐구 활동 및 참여촉진’은 가장 낮은 가중치로 조사되었다. 이러한 연구 결과 전문가들은 생태적 이점을 미적으로 승화시키는 것의 중요성은 인지하고 있지만 생태적 가치와 사회문화적 가치를 통합하려 는 인식은 낮음을 시사한다.

The discourse on ecological aesthetics extends beyond mere ecological and aesthetic values, emphasizing a broader concept that transcends traditional landscape aesthetics. This study aims to examine the concept and significance of ecological aesthetic landscape design and to identify the relative importance of core values that should be considered during the design process, thereby clarifying the importance of ecological aesthetic design factors. To achieve this, a framework was constructed based on ecological aesthetic value assessment elements, and an analysis was conducted using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology with a panel of 60 experts. The analysis yielded two key findings. First, among the ecological aesthetic values, the expert group rated ecological value as the most important, followed by artistic value, functional value, and socio-cultural value, in that order. Second, a comprehensive analysis of the 16 ecological aesthetic design factors revealed that 'visual beauty' was considered the most important, followed by 'provision of healing and restorative environments,' 'rich and diverse vegetation,' and 'utilization of eco-friendly technologies.' 'Accessibility' and 'promotion of exploratory activities and participation' received the lowest weights. These findings suggest that while experts recognize the importance of aesthetically sublimating ecological benefits, their awareness of integrating ecological values with socio-cultural values is relatively low.
