본 연구는 다문화 청소년이 인식한 부모지지와 외로움의 관계에서 자아존중감, 사회적 위축, 공격성의 병렬다중매개효과를 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 다문화청소년패널조사 2기(MAPS 2기)의 5차년도(2023) 데이터를 활용하여 SPSS 25.0 및 Process Macro 4.2(model 4)로 분석하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화 청소년의 외로움 수준은 성별과 주관적 가정경제수준에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 그러나 거주지역 규모 및 부모의 외국인 여부에 따른 차이는 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 부모지지와 외로움의 관계에서 자아존중감, 사회적 위축, 공격성이라는 세 변수의 완전매개효과가 확인되었다. 이는 부모지지가 외로움에 직접적인 영향을 미치기보다, 다문화 청소년의 심리적(자아존중감) 및 행동적(사회적 위축, 공격성) 요인들을 통해 간접적으로 영향을 미친다는 것을 시사한다. 본 연구는 부모와 외로움의 관계를 다중매개변수를 통해 종합적으로 규명함으로써, 다문화 청소년의 외로움 문제해결을 위해서는 부모지지뿐만 아니라 청소년 개인의 심리·행동적 특성을 고려한 통합적인 접근이 필요함을 제안하였다.

This study aimed to examine the relationship between perceived parental support and loneliness of multicultural adolescents and identify the parallel multiple mediation effects of self-esteem, social withdrawal, and aggression in this relationship. For this purpose, the study analyzed the data from the 5th wave (2023) of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Survey (MAPS 2), using SPSS 25.0 and Process Macro 4.2(model 4). The main findings are as follows. First, the study analyzed loneliness based on the general characteristics of multicultural adolescents. The results revealed significant differences by gender and subjective household economic status. However, no significant differences were found when the size of their residential area or the nationality of their parents was considered. Second, the study confirmed a full mediation effect of self-esteem, social withdrawal, and aggression in the relationship between parental support and loneliness. This suggests that parental support does not directly affect loneliness. Rather, it has an indirect effect through the psychological factor of self-esteem and the behavioral factors of social withdrawal and aggression. This study comprehensively elucidates the relationship between parental support and loneliness through multiple mediating variables. It suggests that to address loneliness of multicultural adolescents, an integrated approach is necessary, considering not only parental support but also the psychological and behavioral characteristics of the adolescents themselves.
