본 연구는 영유아의 미디어 활용 시 상호작용의 중요성을 살피기 위해 미디어와 인적 상호작용을 다룬 국내 연구들의 동향을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 2003년부터 2024년까지 우리나라 학술지 60곳에 게재된 학술논 문 127편을 분석하였다. 연구결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영유아 의 미디어와 인적 상호작용을 다룬 연구는 2015년부터 2020년까지 급증 하였다. 둘째, 어머니 대상 연구가 많았고, 양적 연구가 다수로 질문지법 을 활용한 상관연구가 주로 수행되었다. 셋째, 독립변인으로 ‘유아 미디 어 노출’, 종속변인으로 ‘아동 미디어 중독’이 가장 많이 연구되었다. 넷 째, 미디어와 영유아 발달, 유아 미디어 중독이 연구 주제로 빈번하게 다 루어졌다. 다섯째, 연구들의 주요 결과를 보면, 영유아에게는 성인과 함 께 대화와 상호작용의 맥락에서 미디어 함께하기가 중요하였고, 성인의 미디어 중재가 요구되었으며, 부모 자신의 미디어 사용 점검, 어머니의 양육스트레스 관리가 필요하였다. 본 연구를 통해 영유아의 미디어 활용 시 양육자와의 반응적인 인적 상호작용에 기반하는 연구 방향을 제안하 고자 한다.

This study aims to analyse trends in domestic research on media and human interaction among infants and toddlers, examine the importance of interaction when using media. To this end, 127 academic papers published from 2003 to 2024 were analysed. The results of the study are summarised as follows. First, opapers were published steadily from 2003, with a sharp increase from 2015 to 2020. Most studies focused on mothers of infants, and quantitative research was prevalent, to examine the relationships between variables. Second, the most frequently studied independent variable was ‘infant media exposure’, and the most frequently studied dependent variable was ‘child media addiction’. Third, the research topics most frequently addressed were media and infant development, and infant media addiction. Forth, the main findings indicated that for infants, it is important to engage with media in the context of dialogue and interaction with adults, and that adult mediation of media use is required.
