21세기에 들어서며 세계 선교 지형은 북반구 중심에서 남반구 (Global South) 중심으로 급격하게 재편되고 있다. 본 논문은 글로벌 사우스 시대의 도래와 이로 인한 선교 패러다임의 변화, 그리고 이에 대응하는 한국교회의 선교적 과제를 규명한다. 특히 글로벌 사우스 교회들의 성장과 주체화 현상, 다중심적 선교 시대의 도래, 그리고 선교 전략의 변화를 중심으로, 한국교회가 나아가야 할 방향성과 실천 적 과제를 제시한다. 변화하는 선교 환경에서 한국교회는 하나님의 선교를 지향하는 선교신학적 토대를 구축하고 위축된 선교의 회복을 위해 상생과 공생의 선교를 추구하고 인구소멸로 이어지는 한국교회의 위기 상황 속에서 차세대 선교리더십을 구축하고 디지털 선교를 확장함 으로 교회의 사명인 하나님의 선교를 실천해 가야 한다.

With the advent of the 21st century, global mission has shifted from a North-centered to a South-centered paradigm, as the Global South emerges as a leading force. This study examines the rise of the Global South era, the resulting paradigm shifts in mission, and the missional challenges faced by the Korean church. Focusing on the growth and autonomy of Southern churches, the emergence of a polycentric mission structure, and evolving mission strategies, it explores the directions for Korean mission engagement. In response, the Korean church must establish a theological foundation rooted in missio Dei, pursue missional renewal through mutual cooperation, and address demographic decline by nurturing next-generation mission leaders and expanding digital missions. Through these efforts, the church can faithfully participate in God’s global mission.
