초록

Graffiti art has always been on the edge in the western art system; Chinese "contemporary calligraphy" art is recognized as outside the calligraphy system by the traditional Chinese calligraphy circle. Therefore, the author compares and ponders these two art types in different time and space to seek the "future signs" of the current art. This paper compares western graffiti artists with Chinese contemporary calligraphy artists in terms of the beauty of generality and individuality between them. We should interpret "graffiti text", "graffiti image", "Luanshu", "Xuanshu" and "Tianshu", and seek for various possibilities of contemporary art in different artistic types under different cultural backgrounds.
