천태 다도 문화는 중국 전통 차 문화의 중요한 구성 요소로 저장성 천 태산의 독특한 자연과 인문 환경에서 형성되며, 불교 철학 사상, 도교 교 육 이념 및 유가 예절 규범을 융합하여 독특한 다도 체계를 형성했다. 천태차는 한중 양국의 문화 교류 과정에서 중요한 매개체 역할을 하고 있다. 현대 글로벌화 환경에서 천태 다도 문화의 가치와 의미를 재검토하 는 것은 중국 전통 차 문화에 대한 이해를 심화하는 데 도움이 될 뿐만 아니라 현대 차 문화의 발전을 위한 참고 자료도 될 수 있다. 본고에 연구한 ‘천태다도’는 중국 천태산 지역에 형성된 ‘다선일미’를 핵심 이념으로 하며 유교・불교・도교 세가지 유형의 사상을 융합한 완 전한 의궤와 철학 체계를 갖춘 차 문화 형태를 갖추게 된다. 그 기본 특 징은 ‘화경청적’을 정신적 추구로 삼고, ‘산수다경’을 공간적 매개체로 하 며, ‘농선병중’을 실천의 기초로 삼는다. 본고는 천태다도의 역사적 기원, 중한 다도 문화 교류사, 천태차와 유교・불교・도교의 융합 철학 사상 체 계를 체계적으로 정리하여 중국 차 문화 계보에서의 독특한 위치를 밝히 고, 전통 문화의 창조적 전환과 혁신적 발전을 위한 이론적 기반을 제공 할 수 있다. 학술적 가치 차원에서 살펴보면 본 논문의 연구는 중국 천 태 다도와 한국 다도 문화 연구의 이론적 기반을 확장하고 동양 다도 연 구에 새로운 사례를 제공할 것이다. 실천 응용 차원에서 살펴보면 천태 다도 문화의 연구는 현대 천태 다도 문화 산업 발전에 리소스 차원의 지 원을 제공할 수 있으며, 현대 천태 다도 문화의 특색을 가진 다도 체계 를 구축하는 데 도움이 되고, 천태 다도의 소프트 파워를 더욱 향상시킬 수 있다.

An important component of traditional Chinese tea culture, Tiantai tea ceremonial culture is rooted in the unique natural and humanistic environment of the Tiantai Mountain areas in Zhejiang Province. Integrating Buddhist philosophy, Taoist health-preserving concepts and Confucian rituals, Tiantai tea culture has distinguished itself with its own tea ceremonial system. Tiantai tea serves as an important cultural bridge between China and South Korea. As globalization deepens, it’s of great significance to further study what’s behind the Tiantai tea ceremonial culture. Not only will this deepen the understanding of traditional Chinese tea culture, but throw historical enlightenment to the development of modern tea culture. “Tiantai Tea Ceremony” in the study refers specially to the tea culture developed in the Tiantai Mountain areas of China. With “oneness of tea and Zen” as its core philosophy, it integrates Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, and has developed a complete set of rituals and philosophical systems. Distinctively, it pursues “harmony, respect, purity and tranquility” via the “mountain-water- tea environment”, and lays “simultaneous emphasis on farming and Zen”. The study systematically reviews the historical origins of the Tiantai tea ceremony, the history of tea ceremonial culture exchanges between China and South Korea, and the philosophical integration between the Tiantai tea ceremony with Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. Moreover, the study ascertains the unique position that Tiantai tea holds in the genealogy of Chinese tea culture. Theoretically, this will fuel the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture. Academically, the study will expand the theoretical research perspectives of the Tiantai tea ceremony of China and the tea ceremonial culture of South Korea, and it will come as a new case for Eastern tea science studies. Practically, the exploration and documentation of Tiantai tea ceremonial culture will underlay the development of modern Tiantai tea culture industries, boost the development of the tea ceremonial system labeled with modern Tiantai tea culture, and bring the soft power of Tiantai tea ceremony to a higher level.
