본 연구는 중국어 대외 선전 텍스트의 한국어 번역에서 나타난 첨가 양상을 분석하여, 그 문제점을 밝히 면서 번역 실무 및 번역 교육에 시사점 제공하고자 한다. 본고는 뉴스 기사의 번역에 초점을 두고, 중국 인 민망 한국어판 위챗 공중계정에서 실은 기사 40편을 대상으로 삼아 고찰하였다. 구체적으로 배경지식 혹은 외국어 표기를 첨가하는 사례들을 정리하였다. 분석 결과에 따르면 뉴스 기사를 비롯된 중국 대외 선전 텍 스트의 한국어 번역에 있어 주로 중국어 고유 표현, 중국 전통 문화·풍습·의식주 관련 어휘, 특정 사물과 사 건의 명칭, 신조어, 전문 용어 등 번역에는 첨가 양상이 발견되었다. 특별히 한자어 표현에다 한자 표기를 추가하는 예시가 발견되었다. 이들은 대외 선전 텍스트가 맡고 있는 중국 문화 전파의 기능의 실현과 뉴스 기사 정보 전달의 효율성을 높이기 위한 것이다. 한편 부적절한 첨가와 일관성이 떨어진 문제도 발견되었다. 본고는 중국어 기사 뉴스를 비롯된 대외 선전 텍스트를 한국어로 옮기는 번역에 참고될 만한 자료를 마련하 였다는 점에 의의가 있다.

This study aims to analyze the additional aspects of Chinese-Korean translation of International Publicity Text and provide implications for translation practice and translation education. This paper focused on the translation of news articles and considered 40 articles carried in the Korean version of the People. net’s WeChat public account. According to the results of the analysis, Korean translations of Chinese foreign propaganda texts were mainly added to translations such as Chinese-specific expressions, Chinese traditional culture, customs, food, shelter-related vocabulary, names of specific objects and events, new words, and technical terms. In particular, an example of adding Chinese characters to Chinese expressions was found. On the other hand, problems with inadequate addition and inconsistency were also found. This paper is meaningful in that it has prepared materials that can be referenced for translation of foreign propaganda texts, including news on Chinese articles, into Korean.
