본 연구의 목적은 한국 사회의 다양한 문제 가운데 MZ세대를 중심으로 사회문제를 진단하고 그 것을 극복하고 해결하기 위한 대안으로써 인간의 존엄성에 대한 인식과 창의성을 계발하면서 개인 의 가치관과 세계관을 확립하고 자유와 평화를 수호할 수 있는 국가관과 애국심을 배양함으로써 MZ세대의 건강한 결혼관과 자녀 양육을 위한 대안을 제시하는 데 있다. 본 연구 목적에 따라 설정된 연구 문제에 관한 연구 결과는 첫째, 존엄성(尊嚴性)과 창의성(創意 性)을 지닌 인간의 욕구를 충족하는 과정에서 자신의 행복한 삶을 영위하기 위하여 너무 과하거나 그릇된 욕구는 다른 사람과의 대립과 갈등을 낳게 된다. 이러한 과한 욕구와 그릇된 욕구를 바로 잡을 수 있는 것은 가치관과 세계관을 정립하는 일이다. 나아가 바른 국가관과 애국심을 갖게 될 때, 개인보다는 국가와 사회, 인류의 자유와 평화를 위하여 자신이 해야 할 일이 무엇인지를 깨닫게 될 것이다. 특히, 양극화로 인한 국가와 사회의 갈등과 대립, 잃어버린 신뢰와 믿음(희망)을 회복하 는 일은 국가와 국민, 국민과 국민 간의 소통과 공감을 형성하는 일이다. 둘째, 우리에게 주어진 자 유와 평화는 그냥 주어지지 않았다. 많은 희생과 헌신을 통하여 힘겹게 이루어 낸 자유와 평화를 지켜나가는 것은 국민의 한 사람으로는 불가능하다. 서로 감당해 내야 할 사명과 의무, 책임감이 수 반된 자유가 필요하다. 셋째, MZ세대를 중심으로 보는 한국 사회문제의 극복과 해결책은 MZ세대 를 향한 관심과 그들에게 밝은 미래를 안겨주는 일이다. 물론, 기성세대의 젊은 시절은 가난과 함께 암울한 미지의 세계이기도 했다. 하지만, 그 당시에는 무엇이든 하면 된다는 희망이라도 있었다. 그 러나 지금 MZ세대에게는 무엇이든 해 내기만 하면 되는 시대가 아니다. 법과 규정을 지켜야만 하 는 시대이다. 무조건 해서 되지도 않을 뿐만 아니라 법과 규정에 맞추어야 하는 시대이다. 기성세대 는 혼자만 잘하면 되는 때였지만, 지금은 혼자 할 수 있는 일이 드물다. 여러 사람이 네트워크를 형 성해야만 무슨 일이든 할 수 있는 융합된 사회이다. MZ세대를 위한 정책과 사회적 환경을 조성하 는 것은 물론, 이들에게 고통과 박탈이 아닌 희망을 심어주어야 한다. 우리 사회는 극심한 홍역을 앓고 있다. 이러한 홍역을 앓고 있으면서도 세대 간의 갈등을 잘 견 디며, 이겨내는 대견한 한국인의 기질을 엿볼 수 있다. 무엇이든 해 낼 수 있다는 저력을 지닌 한국 인에게 이를 개발하고 발전시킬 수 있는 사회경제적 환경만 조성해 준다면 무한한 가능성을 지닌 MZ세대의 열정과 도전 정신은 밝은 미래 한국 사회를 이루어 내는 주역이 될 것으로 본다.

This study examines contemporary Korean society, particularly focusing on the younger generations such as Millennials and Generation Z, by diagnosing various social problems and suggesting alternatives to help these generations overcome and resolve these issues. The proposed solutions include fostering human dignity and creativity, establishing personal values and worldviews, and cultivating a sense of national identity and patriotism to protect freedom and peace. Through these efforts, the study aims to suggest alternatives for promoting healthy attitudes toward marriage and child-rearing culture among the younger generations. The main findings regarding the research questions established in accordance with the study objectives are as follows: First, in the process of fulfilling human needs for dignity and creativity, excessive or misguided desires, even when pursued in the name of a happy life, can lead to conflict and confrontation with others. Correcting these excessive and misguided desires requires the establishment of a clear system of values and a coherent worldview. Furthermore, when individuals develop a sound national perspective and patriotism, they can recognize what they ought to do for the freedom and peace of our nation, society, and humanity, rather than focusing solely on themselves. In particular, restoring the conflict and confrontation between nations and societies, and the lost trust and faith (hope) caused by polarization, requires fostering communication and empathy between citizens and between the nation and its citizens. Second, the freedom and peace we have been given were not given for free. Maintaining this freedom and peace, achieved through countless sacrifices and dedication, cannot be achieved by individuals acting alone. What we need is freedom accompanied by a shared sense of mission, duty, and responsibility. Third, to overcome and resolve Korea's social problems, especially among Millennials and Generation Z, we should keep paying attention to them and try to ensure that they can envision a brighter future. Although the older generations also experienced youth marked by poverty and gloomy uncertainty, back then, there was at least some hope that "anything is possible if tried." However, today's Millennials and Generation Z are in a time when individual effort cannot by itself bring about change. We are in the era where laws and regulations must be adhered to, and a "just do it" attitude is not anymore sufficient as actions must also comply with laws and regulations. While older generations lived in a time when individuals could do well through their own effort, today, things that can be done only with individual effort are uncommon. We are now living in a highly interconnected society where networks of people are essential for achieving meaningful goals. We must not only create policies and social environments that support Millennials and Generation Z but also instill hope in them rather than feelings of suffering and deprivation. Our society is now weathering a serious storm. Even a midst these difficulties, we can glimpse the remarkable spirit of Koreans who overcome and ride out inter generational conflict. If we can create a socioeconomic environment that can fully develop their innate potential, the passion and willingness to take on challenges of Millennials and Generation Z, who possess boundless possibilities, will play a central role in building a bright future for Korean society.
