본 연구는 부여 양화마을 하냥살이 낙화놀이가 단순한 전통 놀이나 향토 축제의 잔존 형태가 아니라, 지역 공동체의 생활 세계에 내재화된 의례 체계로 재조명하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 하냥살이라는 개념을 이론적 중심에 두고, 낙화놀이 의 기원과 형성 배경, 의례 구조와 상징 체계, 불 의례의 비교 민속·비교종교적 맥락을 종합적으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 낙화 놀이는 준비–점등–상달–하강–종결로 이어지는 완결된 의례 구조를 지니며, 고대 제천의례적 사유가 마을 단위와 생활 차 원으로 흡수·내면화된 사례임을 확인하였다. 나아가 본 연구는 하냥살이 낙화놀이가 현대사회에서 일상과 의례의 재결합, 공 동체 관계 회복, 생태적 세계관의 재인식, 그리고 생활 기반 무 형문화유산 이해라는 측면에서 중요한 문화적·학술적 의의를 지님을 밝힌다.

This study aims to re-examine the Hanyang-sali Nakhwanoriof Yanghwa Village in Buyeo not merely as a remnant of traditional play or a local festival, but as an internalized ritual system within the lifeworld of the local community. To this end, placing the concept of Hanyang-saliat the theoretical center, this paper comprehensively analyzes the origin and formation background of Nakhwanori, its ritual structure and symbolic system, and the fire ritual in the contexts of comparative folklore and comparative religion. As a result, it is confirmed that Nakhwanoripossesses a complete ritual structure that proceeds through preparation, lighting, ascension, descent, and conclusion. It also serves as a prominent example of how ancient Jecheon(heaven-worship) ritualistic thought has been absorbed and internalized at the village and everyday life levels. Furthermore, this study reveals that Hanyang-sali Nakhwanoriholds significant cultural and academic value in modern society in terms of the reintegration of everyday life and ritual, the restoration of community relations, the renewed awareness of an ecological worldview, and the understanding of life-based intangible cultural heritage.
