본 연구의 목적은 한국 성인의 초월영성을 측정할 수 있는 신뢰롭고 타당한 초월영성 척도를 개발하고 타당화하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 초월 영성 이론을 중심으로 문헌연구를 실시하고 델파이 연구를 통해 문항을 개발하였으며 최종 문항 선정을 위해 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도와 공존타당도를 확인하였다. 연구참여자는 1차 조사에서는 성인 250명, 2차 조사에서는 성인 350명이다. 연구 결과, 초월영성 척도는 자 기확장, 자기통합, 변용, 자기수용의 요인구조를 중심으로 양호한 모형 적합도를 나타냈으며, 신뢰도와 타당도 또한 적절한 수준으로 확인되었 다. 이는 본 연구에서 개발된 척도가 한국 성인의 초월영성을 측정하는 데 활용 가능한 신뢰롭고 타당한 도구임을 시사한다. 본 연구는 초월영 성상담 분야에서 활용 가능한 한국형 초월영성 척도를 개발함으로써 초 월영성에 대한 양적 연구의 기초를 마련하고, 상담 장면에서 초월영성 평가와 개입에 활용할 수 있는 객관적 기준을 제공하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a reliable and valid Transpersonal and Spiritual Scale for measuring transpersonal spirituality among Korean adults. Based on a literature review and Delphi study, preliminary items were developed and examined through exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, reliability analysis, and concurrent validity testing. Participants included 250 adults in the first survey and 350 adults in the second survey. Results supported a four-factor structure consisting of self-expansion, self-integration, transformation, and self-acceptance, with satisfactory model fit and adequate reliability and validity.
