The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of social support on the relationship between family resilience and subjective well-being among non-disabled siblings of persons with disabilities. To this end, face-to-face interview-based surveys were conducted with 230 non-disabled siblings residing in J Province and K City. Structural equation modeling was employed to examine the structural relationships among the latent variables. The main findings of the study are as follows. First, family resilience among non-disabled siblings had a positive effect on their subjective well-being. Second, social support significantly mediated the relationship between family resilience and subjective well-being. These results demonstrate that subjective well-being among non-disabled siblings is enhanced not only through the direct influence of family resilience but also indirectly through social support as an interpersonal resource and social interaction mechanism. Based on these findings, this study discusses practical and policy implications for enhancing the subjective well-being of non-disabled siblings of persons with disabilities.
