최근 발생한 천안함 피격과 연평도 포격사건과 같이 남북한 전쟁에 대한 위기감이 확산됨에 따라 전쟁이 발발할 경우 국민들이 일정기간 동안 안전하게 거주할 수 있는 임시거주공간 확보에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 이러한 측면에서 지하철 역사는 민방위기본법에 의해 폭격에 대한 방호기능을 갖춘 2등급시설로서 대규모 이재민을 수용하기 위한 임시거주공간으로 충분한 역할을 수행할 수 있다. 하지만 현재 민방위기본법에는 지하철을 대피시설로 활용할 경우 4인당 3.3㎡를 확보하도록 최소 기준만을 설정해 줄 뿐 전쟁 장기화시 임시거주공간으로 활용하기 위해 세부사항에 대한 기준은 없다. 뿐만 아니라 소방방재청의 재해구호계획 수립지침에서도 풍수해대비나 지진에 대비한 임시거주공간에 대한 기준은 있으나 전쟁에 대응한 지하 임시거주공간에 대한 기준은 없는 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 연평도 포격 이재민을 대상으로 연평도 포격당시 대피소의 문제점과 지하 임시대피공간에 대한 요구도 설문조사를 통해 향후 전쟁대응 지하 임시거주공간에 대한 기준을 마련하기 위한 기초연구로 활용하고자 한다.

웹을 기반으로 한 전략 시뮬레이션은 클라이언트 기반의 일반 온라인 게임과 변별되는 특징들을 갖고 있다. 첫째, 웹 기반 MMORTS는 게임 과정이 그래픽적 표현과 텍스트적 표현의 복합으로 재현된다. 둘째, 게임의 주체는 플레이어, 전략 거점으로서의 마을 캐릭터라는 시차적 주체로서 존재한다. 본고는 이러한 요소들을 중심으로 웹 기반 MMORTS의 스토리텔링을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하며 이노게임즈(Innogames)사의 <부족전쟁(Tribal War)>을 연구대상으로 선택하였다. 분석결과, 웹기반 MMORTS <부족전쟁>의 플레이어는 로그아웃 된 동안에 벌어진 수동적 AI 캐릭터의 경험까지도 로그인 후 시차를 두고 받아들임으로써 고유의 사용자 서사를 경험하게 됨을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 일상적인 업무와 병치가 가능하고 여타 플랫폼과 연계될 수 있는 웹 기반 가상세계가 갖는 잠재력을 논했다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

T. S. Eliot’s career began with a struggle between poetry and philosophy. The agon featured Dante, whose work informed Eliot’s earliest poems, and F. H. Eliot argues that Dante’s poetη perfectly i1Iustrates the integration of feeling and intel1igence, both in life and in art. 1n tbis paper, 1 explore Eliot’s allempt to negotiate the c1aims of philosophy and poetry, as represented by Bradley and Dante, and his ultimate decision to abandon a promising career in philosophy for a tenuous career in poetry. Eliot's ambition of becoming a 개bilosophic poet," combining Bradley and Dante, was realized in bis Dantean sequences Ash-Wednesday and Four Quartets.
