        강재 수문은 일반적으로 상대습도가 높고 부식에 대하여 열악한 환경에 설치되므로 다른 강구조물에 비하여 부식열화가 빠르게 진행될 수 있다. 강재 수문의 경우 수문부재의 설치환경에 따라 발생되는 부식환경의 차이가 나타날 수 있으며 이에 따라 발생되는 부식속도가 변화할 수 있다. 따라서 동일 구조물이라도 국부적 부식환경이 구조물 특성에 따라 변화할 수 있으므로 수문구조의 경우 수문의 구조형태와 이에 따른 수문부재의 설치 높이에 따라 변화할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 강재 수문의 구조형태에 따른 상대적 부식환경차이를 수문부재의 높이에 따라 평가하기 위하여 실제 강재수문을 대상으로 모니터링 시험체를 부착하여 부식손상 모니터링을 실시하여 그 영향을 분석하였다.

        강구조물은 부재를 볼트 연결이나 용접을 이용하여 분절 제작된 부재를 연결하여 사용하고 있다. 볼트 연결된 강구조물의 경우 사용기간 증가에 따라 부분적인 볼트 풀림이나 볼트 이음판 및 볼트의 국부적 부식손상이 발생할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 강거더 복부판에 설치된 볼트의 교체나 복부판의 부분 교체 시 발생할 수 있는 복부판 볼트 제거에 따라 나타날 수 있는 강거더의 거동 변화를 평가하기 위하여 강거더 실험체를 대상으로 복부판의 볼트 풀림에 따른 거동 변화를 평가 하였다. 다양한 풀림과정을 고려하였으며, 볼트 연결부에 작용하중 상태를 고려하여 볼트 풀림을 강거더 시험체 재하 상태에서 실시하고 그 영향을 정량적으로 비교하였다.

        The durability of a steel floodgate can have disadvantage to corrosion damage, because it is often come in contact with high humidity condition. In this study, to evaluate the corrosion rate depending on installation environment of a steel floodgate, atmospheric exposure test was performed using corrosion environment measurement sensors and monitoring specimens. From the correlation between the mean corrosion depth and corrosion current, the corrosion rate was estimated depending on the installed environment for the member of a steel floodgate.

        For PHC pile, mechanical connection joints can be essential to connect PHC piles over 15m in length for deep foundation. This study was examined flexural capacity of PHC pile connected with high-performance connection device. To examine flexural capacity of PHC pile, two PHC piles with 5m length were connected using ring-type connecting plate developed recently. Its connection capacity and failure mode were evaluated through four-point flexure test.

        The durability of the steel structure can be affected by atmospheric corrosion environments as temperature, humidity, airborne salt etc.. However, atmospheric corrosion environments can be locally changed depending on structural condition and shape. To estimate the local atmospheric corrosion environments depending on structural member exposed to the marine environment, corrosion level of structural member in steel bridge was examined from exposure tests.

        Steel water gate can be vulnerable to corrosion problem, since it is generally contacted with water or maintained with relatively high humidity condition. In this study, to evaluate the level of corrosion damage of water gate, corrosion exposure test was conducted using monitoring steel plate and monitoring sensor in actual steel water gate. From exposure test results, corrosion rate and corrosion environment were examined depending on the height or the structural type of water gate.

        For steel structure, corrosion problem can be a major maintenance area. Even with the same steel structure, corrosion damage can be changed depending on the location and form of thes structural member. In this study, rherefore, In order to evaluate the relative corrosion enviornmnet depending on the installed condition of the structural steel member, the corrosion deterioration environment was monitored for the large-size steel frame structure.

        Corrosion durability of steel member can be related to its installed environmental conditions such as relative humidity, rainfall, atmospheric temperature, and air pollution(SO2, chloride). Also its installed environmental condition may differ depending on the shape of structural member. Therefore, In this study, to evaluate the difference in the corrosion damage according to the installation environment of steel structural members, outdoor exposure test was carried out from attaching unpainted monitoring plate and atmospheric corrosion monitoring sensor for actual steel bridge with various structural detail.

        Recently, steel has been very frequently chosen in building many civil infra-structures including bridges due to its several beneficial advantages as compared to concrete structures. However, for the most cases, damage such as section reduction, that is resulted from corrosion, was natural and inevitable. Therefore, it becomes very important to evaluate the structural safety and to estimate the life for the worst cases. In this study, the corrosion behaviors of mock-up specimen with box girder were examined by visual inspection.
