        This study is a basic investigation of the contents and services relevant to the domestic vacation house business. In which, the trade scale, types of housing, and environmental conditions of various property locations were analyzed. The characteristics of properties listed on the Japanese website that conducts the greatest volume of vacation house trade in Japan were examined, and the following results were obtained: Villa areas, villas, and resort condos (resort mansions) are the three basic types of properties handled in the vacation house trade. In this market, sales per unit in villa areas and per spaces in resort condos accounted for the highest volume of trade, followed by that of villas (individual houses). In terms of land area, floor area, and sales price per house type, the relatively cheaper small and medium-sized vacation houses are more frequently traded, than expensive large-scale villas. In particular, small multi-family type villas (such as in resort condos) are the most popular. Land and floor area, and sales prices all show considerable variation depending on the type of property considered. Therefore, a business initiative to provide a more detailed classification of properties is required. In terms of the environment of vacation properties, most are located on coasts, plateaus, or inland mountains, and are generally within three-hours’ traveling distance of large cities.

        The objective of the paper is to experimentally investigate the compressive strength of the concrete incorporating fly ash. Ordinary Portland cement(OPC). Water to binder ratio(W/B) ranging from 30% to 60% and curing temperature ranging from -10℃∼65℃ were also adopted for experimental parameters. Fly ash was replaced by 30% of cement contents. According to the results, strength development of concrete contained with fly ash is lower than that of plain concrete in low temperature at early age and maturity. In high curing temperature, the concrete with fly ash has higher strength development than that of low temperature regardless of the elapse of age and maturity. Fly ash can have much effect on the strength development of concrete at the condition of mass concrete, hot weather concreting and the concrete products for the steam curing.

        The purpose of this study is to select the appropriate wild herbaceous plants on the rooftop. For the purpose of the experiments, 14 wild herbaceous plants were chosen. As the results of the experiments, the wild herbaceous plants growing on the culture soil(perlite) Among the 14 kinds of wild herbaceous plants, such as Chrysanthemum boreale, Taraxacum mongolicum, Aster Koraiensis, Aster yomena, Oenothera odorata, Oenothera lamarckiana, Patrinia scabiosaefolia showed good effects on growth of above ground parts. Therefore, these plants will effective for the rooftop revegetation. Callistephus chinensis and Lotus corniculatus var. Japonicus showed good height growth, wherase covering rate was worst. Chrysanthemum boreale, Platycodon grandiflorum, Patrinia scabiosaefolia were plant height, wherase covering rate was not good . For the expected number of seedings more than 3,000 per square meter, many seedings got withered to death while the survivors were suppressed to grow slow in the early stage due to the densityproblem.

        In this paper, the properties of inter­locking block using fly ash are discussed in order to provide economical advantages and improve quality, and protect environment and recycle resources. Fly ash is the by-product of coal in thermal power plant. The experimental parameters are fly ash content, the amount of AE water­reducing agent and mixing proportion of cement mortar. According to the experimental results, the improvement of quality in the side of strength, absorption ratio and freeze­thaw resistance for manufacturing inter­locking block and the curtailment of cost can be achieved in case of 15% of fly ash and 0.3% of AE water- reducing agent are mixed into mortar mixture of 1:6(C:S).

        The purpose of this study was attempted to establish concepts of environmental-friendly applications of flood plain and to suggest the application plans. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1.Roles of flood plain as biotop (restoration, preservation, and creation of stream corridor ecosystem) should be considered. 2.Application methods considering environmental and scenic values should be reviewed. 3.Application methods reflecting values as regional ecological resources should be planned. 4.Preservation and application should be considered together, and obtaining a means of living for regional residents and creation of economic profits should be considered together. 5.Land application and approach method by usages (integrated management model) should be applied to utilize and manage flood plain efficiently. 6.Flood plain application programs should be designed reflecting opinions of regional residents. 7.With respect to space planning of flood plain, introduction of facilities focused on ecosystempreservation/ecosystemrestoration/experiences/observation/learning/culture/ recreation/water purification could be reviewed positively.
