Due to the sturdy photoluminescence and absorption, CQDs emerged as a suitable candidate for optical sensing probe. The present study deals with the synthesis of blue-fluorescent Carbon Quantum Dot (TAA-CQD) using tannic acid and glycine as novel precursors. The TAA-CQD were synthesised hydrothermally with the high production yield and QY to be 86.12 and 21%, respectively, and an average particle size of 1.9 nm. The TAA-CQD aqueous solution displays excitation-dependent fluorescence emission in the excited range from 420 to 650 nm. The CIE co-ordinates in a highly blue region at (0.14, 0.19) confirmed the synthesised TAA-CQD were blue in fluorescent. Fluorescence of TAA-CQD was stable under all pH range, resisted the high ionic strengths condition and stable over 8 months. Furthermore, the fluorescent TAA-CQD was capable in detecting a tetracycline-classed antibiotic Doxycycline (DXY) along with remarkable selectivity and sensitivity. The measures limit of detection (LOD) was very low 2.42 mM in comparison to other methods. Moreover, the applicability of the proposed work has been fruitfully employed on the pharmaceutical waste. Thus, our designed TAA-CQD based fluorescence sensing system hold great promise for the advanced sensing materials in the detection of DXY and we believe that our approach will be promising and viable in a clinical applications.

The current study explores the possibility of graphene as a protective layer on the zinc substrate through an optimized electrophoretic deposition process. Graphene has been synthesized from H2SO4, HNO3, and HClO4 solutions by an electrochemical exfoliation route. This method is known for providing a scalable and economical approach to the synthesis of graphene. The exfoliated graphene nano-sheets were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, UV–visible, and field emission scanning electron microscope to evaluate its properties. The three different synthesized forms of graphene nano-sheets were electrophoretically deposited onto Zn substrates at two different potentials. Scratch testing was employed to check the adhesion quality of the coatings. The corrosion behaviour of Zn and graphene-coated Zn substrates was studied in borate buffer and 3.5 wt% NaCl solutions through potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Purpose – The study aims to examine the students’ perspective (stream wise) of parameters affecting the undergraduate engineering education system present in a private technical institution in NCR, Haryana, India. Research design, data, and methodology – It is a descriptive type of research in nature. Questionnaire Based Survey has been used to collect the data. The sample size for the study is 500 comprising of the students respondents. The sample has been taken randomly and the questionnaire was filled by the students (pursuing B. Tech) chosen on the random basis from a private technical educational institution in NCR, Haryana, India. For data analysis and conclusion of the results of the survey, statistical tool like F test was performed with the help of high quality software; SPSS. Conclusion – Analysis of variance revealed statistically no difference between the mean number of the groups (stream wise) for the parameters "Selection", "Academic Excellence", "Infrastructure", "Personality Development and Industry Exposure" and "Management and Administration". While Analysis of variance revealed statistically difference between the mean numbers of the groups for the parameter "Placements".
