The issue of marine accidents can be based on the traffic/distribution of vessels in the waterways. These accidents are often associated with human and financial losses and require special attention. Usually, these accidents include collision of two fishing vessels with each other, collision of a fishing vessel with other types of vessels in the course and collision of a fishing vessel with an obstacle in the course (Yancai, et al, 2020). In this article, we first want to deal with analysing the recorded statistical samples in 7 fishing areas in coastal waters of South Korea in 2023, while fuzzy clustering them. Then, according to analysing the sample data and finding the probabilistic structure and the membership of data sets the determined clusters, through Monte Carlo simulation, we will generate similar data in each of the 7 studied regions and model them in unsupervised mode. The generated data by Monte Carlo simulation based on the statistical distribution will able us to study the reality of distribution and possible accident in our target areas and find the model for future demands. We show that how the simulated data reduce the cost of data analysis and deliver us the facts of clusters for fishing vessels collisions. Finally, we reach to the most notified area for preventing the fishing vessels accidents and to make more preparations for reducing the human and costly damages in future activities.
Background : In order to develop new cultivar of hybrid kiwifruit with cold tolerance, high useful components and high quality fruit, we have been crossed ‘Hayward’ (Actinidia deliciosa) with A. arguta. The new hybrid kiwifruit cultivars were 'DM', 'HO', and 'JW'. Actinidia arguta, called hardy kiwifruit, has an edible smooth skin and contains high amounts of sugar and vitamin C. It is native to north China, Korea, and Japan. A. deliciosa are known as kiwifruit and originated in Southwest China. The fruit of A. deliciosa appreciated for its sweet, slightly acidic flesh and high nutritional value, especially due its high content in vitamin C like A. arguta. The cultivar ‘Hayward’ of A. deliciosa occupies the majority of the world kiwifruit cultivated surface, and is the cultivar commercially produced in Korea. However, the kiwifruit producing areas are limited to warm climates region, it can be cultivated in the southern parts of Korea. In our research, several hybrids have been developed to enhance cold tolerance by crossing ‘Hayward’ with domestic species. Methods and Results : In our research, several hybrids have been developed to enhance cold tolerance by crossing ‘Hayward’ with domestic species. Freeze dried the fruit of hybrid kiwifruit was finely ground, extracted twice with methanol (MeOH). The crude extracts of the fruit was analyzed with HPLC for vitamin C and β-carotene analysis. Conclusion : Moisture and carbohydrate contents of hardy kiwi fruit in this study varied from 81.40 - 83.57% and 14.63 - 16.90 g/100 g, respectively. Among new cultivars, JW had higher fat(0.17 g/100 g) and protein(1.33 g/100 g) contents than others. The highest vitamin C and β-carotene content of hardy kiwi fruit were 120.70 ㎎/ 100 g, 0.14 ㎎/kg, respectively in DM.
A new cultivar of walnut (Juglans sinensis) was developed through selection from Korea Forest Research Institute. The goals of this research were to evaluate the yielding of walnut and their fruit characteristics of walnut selected from different regions in Korean Wild. Different varieties of walnut grown in Korea, were investigated in what concerns fruit weights, fruit length and their yielding. The walnut belongs to the family Juglandaceae. It is one of the most important nut crops grown in temperate regions. Walnuts, the seeds of J. sinensis are a highly nutritious food. They are also used as a traditional remedy for treating cough, stomach ache and cancer in Asia. The present investigations were undertaken during 2000-2009 in five walnut growing areas. In the present study a wide range of variation was observed in walnut characters from different locations. From these varieties, we have been regularly investigated the fruiting characteristics, which are the average of Fruit Length (FL) and Width (FW), and Weight of Fruit (WF) and Individual Yields (IY), during 10 years to select good quality walnut trees.
The effect of storage temperature and the storage period of hardy kiwifruits on the fruit firmness, soluble solids and fruit weight were studied in this work. The investigation was carried out on the Sae-Han cultivar of Actinidia arguta. It has an edible smooth skin and contains high amounts of sugar and vitamin C (ascorbic acid). In this research, the measurement of fruit firmness, soluble solids, and fruit weight were carried out at various temperatures (5, 10, 15, and 20℃) during 14 days. Fruit firmness rapidly decreased and soluble solids content increased at 15 and 20℃. We also investigated the correlation between fruit firmness and soluble solids content. There was a strong correlation between fruit firmness and soluble solids content. That means that fruit firmness affect the soluble solids content of hardy kiwifruit.
