        Recently, in the case of the root industry, although it is a basic industry that forms the basis of manufacturing competitiveness, there continues to be a shortage of manpower due to reasons such as dangerous working environments, industrial economic difficulties, and low wage systems. In addition, the demand for automation of production lines using robots is increasing due to a shrinking labor market due to a decrease in the working population due to aging, higher wages, shorter working hours, and limitations of foreign workers. In this study, a system was developed to automate the injection molding process for producing ball valves for automobiles by applying robot system. The applied process flow consists of alignment and insertion of insert parts, and removal, transfer, and loading of the product after injection molding, which is currently performed manually. Through the application of the developed robot automation system, the cycle time was improved by more than 30% and the defect rate was reduced by more than 70%.

        As the hydrofluoric acid leak at Gumi-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do or hydrochloric acid leak at Ulsan demonstrated that chemical related accidents were mostly caused by large amounts of volatile toxic substances leaked due to the damages of storage tank. The purpose of this study was to develop PFA lined bottom drain ball valve for using in semiconductor, LCD manufacturing fields, pharmaceutical and others. For this purpose, modeling and design of PFA lined bottom drain ball valve, casting mold and casting production, design and manufacturing of lining mold, design and manufacturing of lining jig, PFA forming and assembly have been carried out for 50A×25A PFA lined bottom drain ball valve. In addition, a performance test was performed for the pin hole, density, tensile strength, elongation and elastic modulus of the developed prototype. As a result, the performance of the prototype valve satisfies all the objects of this study. Also, the developed valve was a very good performance compared with conventional 50A×25A imported valve with the same size.

        This Study is about structural analysis of ball valve for controlling cryogenic LNG's flow or stop in normal temperature. The used valve is demanded safety resistance for inner pressure and temperature variation caused by using it in cryogenic, high pressure surrounding. This study evaluates for safety resistance for inner pressure and temperature variation by heat transfer analysis in cryogenic surrounding, heat stress analysis in temperature variation and deformation analysis in high pressure.
