        The lithium ion battery has applied to various fields of energy storage systems such as electric vehicle and potable electronic devices in terms of high energy density and long-life cycle. Despite of various research on the electrode and electrolyte materials, there is a lack of research for investigating of the binding materials to replace polymer based binder. In this study, we have investigated petroleum pitch/polymer composite with various ratios between petroleum pitch and polymer in order to optimize the electrochemical and physical performance of the lithium-ion battery based on petroleum pitch/polymer composite binder. The electrochemical and physical performances of the petroleum pitch/polymer composite binder based lithium-ion battery were evaluated by using a charge/discharge test, cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and universal testing machine (UTM). As a result, the petroleum pitch(MP-50)/polymer(PVDF) composite (5:5 wt % ratio) binder based lithium-ion battery showed 1.29 gf mm-1 of adhesion strength with 144 mAh g-1 of specific dis-charge capacity and 93.1 % of initial coulombic efficiency(ICE) value.

        The purpose of this study was to develop high quality dark film honeycomb fabric curtains. The results of producing the prototype for various color tone development, hot melt viscosity, and adhesiveness test for the final prototype were as follows. The hexagonal honeycomb structure is easy to manufacture, has a good coupling force, and has a dark honeycomb fabric curtain. The hot melt condition was obtained with 540g of hot melt and 1.5kg of diluent, 242.3cp, and the curing result was obtained at 140°C. Seven different colors were developed using yellow, red, blue, and white four primary colors. The adhesive force test device was designed to enable more than 5,000 real tests by the automatic opening and closing device for the convenience of the field workers. The size of the test sample was designed to be 1,000mm × 1,200mm. As a result of designing and manufacturing the prototype to attach the monitor and the control device to automatically count, the prototype was made to be measured 10,000 times. The combined force of the honeycomb fabric curtain was maintained after 5,000 tests on the manufactured rock film honeycomb fabric curtain.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the immediate effect of fabric ankle-foot orthosis on spatiotemporal gait parameters, compared to a barefoot condition in children with spastic cerebral palsy. Eleven children with spastic cerebral palsy participated in this study. Spatiotemporal gait parameters were measured with the GAITRite system. Fabric ankle-foot orthosis significantly improved Timed Up and Go test time and gait velocity. There was no significant difference in cadence. The step time significantly improved in both the more and less affected foot compared to the barefoot condition. The step length of the affected foot also significantly improved, but there was no significant difference in the step length of the less affected foot. There was significant improvement in the stride length of both the affected and less affected foot, but no significant difference in single stance or double stance. The fabric ankle-foot orthosis could improve stability, and selective control of the joint and promote better walking in children with cerebral palsy. Consequently, the fabric ankle-foot orthosis might be an alternative assistive device for neurological populations as a primary role instead of the typical ankle-foot orthosis.
