        Background: Bridging exercises are used to enhance the functional stability of the lumbopelvic region in clinical settings. Although most of the studies on bridging exercises have compared the complete activation of the trunk muscles, some recent studies have examined the functional stability of the trunk and the lumbopelvic region and assessed the appropriate recruitment of the local and global muscles during different task levels. Objects: The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes in muscle thickness in the transverse abdominis (TrA), internal oblique (IO), and external oblique (EO) muscles during a common bridging exercise on an unstable surface and to determine whether these changes differ based on the surface used. Methods: Twenty-five healthy young adults (8 males, 17 females) were recruited. The subjects were randomly assigned to either the exercise progression with a sling bridge group or the ball bridging exercise progression group, each with three stages of increasing difficulty. Each position was measured three times with an ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system, and the mean values were recorded for analysis. Results: No significant differences were observed between the TrA, IO, or EO muscle thickness ratios between the sling and ball exercise groups (p > 0.05). There were also no significant differences in the EO muscle thickness ratios between the tasks irrespective of whether the sling or ball was used. However, the TrA and IO thickness ratios in both groups were significantly greater during stages 2 and 3 compared to stage 1. Conclusion: The results suggest that the use of slings and balls during bridging exercises is effective in activating the deep abdominal muscles.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate intra-rater reliability and determine the validity of electromyography (EMG) measurements to represent muscle activity and ultrasonography (US) to represent muscle thickness during manual muscle testing (MMT) to external abdominal oblique (EO) and lumbar multifidus (MF). Twenty healthy subjects were recruited for this study and asked to perform MMT at differing levels. The subjects' muscle activity using EMG was measured by a ratio to maximum voluntary contraction (MVC) and root mean square (RMS) methods. The subjects' muscle thickness using US was measured by raw muscle thickness and change ratio of thickness to maximum (MVC) or resting condition. In three trials, measurements were performed on each subject by one examiner. The intra-rater reliability of measurements of EMG and US to EO and MF was calculated using intra-class coefficients. The intra-rater reliability of all measurements was excellent (ICC=.75~.98) in EMG and US. The conduct validity was calculated by one-way ANOVA with repeated measurements to compare whether the EMG and US measurements were different between MMT at different levels. There was only a significant difference between all grades at %MVC thickness measurement of US. These results suggest that a %MVC thickness measurement of US was a more sensitive and discriminate in all manual muscle testing grades. This information will be useful for the selection of US measurement and analysis methods in clinics.

        지방췌장(Fatty pancreas)은 세포 내에 비정상적으로 지질이 침착되는 과정으로 지방조직이 증가하여 축척되고, 그 결과 심혈관 및 대사성 질환의 위험인자로 나타난다. 이에 본 논문에서는 췌장 초음파검사에서 췌장 지방이 심혈관계 질환 및 대사증후군의 예측 인자로서의 유용성을 알아보고자 한다. 부산에 위치한 W 병원 건강검진센터에서 2018년 9월 2일부터 2018년 12월 31일까지 종합검진을 시행한 407명을 대상으로 복부초음파검사 결과 중 췌장에 지방이 침착된 정도를 경도, 중등도, 고도 3단계로 분류하였다. 췌장의 지방 침착과 심혈관 질환 및 대사성증후군의 연관성을 알아보기 위하여 비폐쇄성 죽상경화, BMI, 고지혈증, 고혈압, 당뇨병의 데이터를 수집하였고 추가적으로 지방췌장의 정도가 증가될수록 간기능 이상과 갑상선 기능 이상과의 상관관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 지방췌장을 가진 환자 중 비폐쇄성 죽상경화, BMI, 고지혈증, 고혈압, 당뇨병, 간기능이상, 갑상선기능이상 등 6가지 매개변수의 관련성을 살펴보았고 이 중 심혈관질환 위험인자인 비폐쇄성 중상경화의 경동맥 내중막두께가 지방췌장과 가장 밀접하게 연관되어 있음을 확인하였다.

        This study investigated the risk factor of Gallbladder stone in Busan and Kyungnam area. The subjects of the experiment was performed with patients by abdominal ultrasonography among the patients who came to the P hospital from June 2016 to December 2016. Among them, risk factors were analyzed on 353 people at the same time when abdominal ultrasonography and hematological test. The statistical analysis of risk factors related to the Gallbladder stone was performed by independent t-test and chi-square test. In consider of difference verification result for calculations odds ratio about independent variables, multiple logistic regression analysis to conduct verify adequacy by calculating forecasting model from variable. As a result, Gallbladder stone risk factors have relevance to age ɤGTP with probability model and values to calculated. Age was showed sensitivity 49.7%, specificity 82.2%, receiver operating characteristic area under curve 0.724. Forecasting probability sensitivity 69.3%, specificity 62.4%, receiver operating characteristic area under curve 0.699 showed, ɤGTP confirmed validity of forecasting model
