김종영의 <3.1독립선언기념탑>의 건립, 철거, 복원 과정은 한국 미술사에서 예술과 권력, 공간과 기억의 교차를 보여주는 상 징적 사례라고 할 수 있다. 1963년 박정희 정권의 재건국민운동본부가 주축이 되어 국민의 성금으로 건립되었던 기념탑은 3.1만 세운동과 4.19혁명 등 독립 및 민주화 운동의 문화기억을 시각화한 작품으로서 탑골공원에 세워졌다. 그러나 1979년 박정희 정 권의 탑골공원 정비 사업에 따라 무단 철거되었으며, 이 사건은 앙리 르페브르의 공간 생산론에 의하면 권력에 의해 재편된 ‘공간 의 재현’으로 해석될 수 있다. 이에 미술인들은 즉각적인 집단 저항으로 공간 재현에 맞섰으며, 이들의 복원 운동은 곧 실천적 요 소가 내포된 ‘차이공간’을 위한 공간 투쟁으로 볼 수 있다. 12년간 계속되었던 미술인들의 공간 투쟁은 결국 1992년 서대문 독립 공원에의 복원으로 매듭지어졌고, 이는 예술의 자율성과 문화 기억의 회복을 상징하는 사례로 기록되었다. 위와 같은 내용을 기반 으로 본 연구는 프랑스 사회학자 앙리 르페브르의 공간 생산의 관점에서 <3.1독립선언기념탑>의 건립, 철거, 복원 과정을 분석함 으로써, 기념물이 단순 조형물 이상의 사회적·정치적 투쟁의 장이 될 수 있으며, 권력과 예술이 만드는 공간 생산의 복합적 과정임 을 밝힌다.

Continuous-path motion control such as resolved motion rate control requires online solving of the inverse differential kinematics for a robot. However, the solution space of the inverse differential kinematics related to Jacobian J is not well-established. In this paper, the solution space of inverse differential kinematics is analyzed through categorization of mapping conditions between joint velocities and end-effector velocity of a robot. If end-effector velocity is within the column space of J, the solution or the minimum norm solution is obtained. If it is not within the column space of J, an approximate solution by least-squares is obtained. Moreover, this paper introduces an improved mapping diagram showing orthogonality and mapping clearly between subspaces, and concrete examples numerically showing the concept of several subspaces. Finally, a solver and graphics user interface (GUI) for inverse differential kinematics are developed using MATLAB, and the solution of inverse differential kinematics using the GUI is demonstrated for a vertically articulated robot.

In this paper, the issue of blind detection of Alamouti-type differential space-time (ST) π/2-shifted BPSK modulation in static Rayleigh fading channels is considered. We introduce a novel transformation to the received signal from each receiver antenna such that this binary ST modulation, which has a second-order transmit-diversity, is equivalent to QPSK modulation with second-order receive-diversity. The pre-detection combining of the result of transformation allows us to apply a low complexity detection technique specifically designed for receive-diversity, namely, scalar multiple-symbol differential detection (MSDD). With receiver complexity proportional to the observation window length, our receiver can achieve the performance 1.5dB better than that of conventional differential detection ST and 0.5dB worse than that qf a coherent maximum ratio combining receiver (with differential decoding) approximately.
