Unilateral neglect has been the most considerable problem that affects the functional prognosis of CVA patients. The approaches to this symptom are both remedial and compensatory approach. Remedial approach is more valuable method than compensatory approach in terms of reducing the unilateral neglect originally. One of the method of remedial approach is controlled sensory stimulation. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of left visual stimuli for reducing the severity of unilateral neglect. The subject was a 40-year-old male patient who had left unilateral neglect. We have put blinking light in the left space of the patient while he performed the line bisection test before and after the stimulation. As a result, the stimulation was not distinctively effective to release the neglect. For further study. it is considered that the environment when stimulating, the strength and duration of stimulation must be controlled.

This paper explores the propositional content of subject it- extrapositions, which has received less attention because of individuality and variety in itself but may contribute to the pedagogical significance of studying grammatical features in relation to communicative functions. Using methods sections of international research articles in applied linguistics, I scrutinize the propositional content in order to understand when and where expert writers employ extrapositions. An analysis of extrapositions, referring to a possible counterpart, first person subject pronouns in the methods section, shows that content presented in it-clauses covers one not only applicable to present research or researchers but also general research or researchers in applied linguistics. Furthermore, a comparison of the journal papers is made with Korean students' master's theses. The findings indicate that the students may not fully understand the communicative or rhetorical function. The examination of the propositional content is hoped to help students who are still vaguely using it - clauses.

본 연구의 목적은 교과교실 운영의 핵심요소를 밝혀내고, 이를 기초로 교과교실의 양적 확대와 질적 심화를 통해 단계적으로 확산하는데 필요한 정보를 생산·제공하는데 있다. 이를 위해 첫째, 2011년 현재 선진형 교과교실제를 운영하는 106개교의 실태를 종합적으로 살펴보고, 둘째, 2011년 교과교실제 우수 운영 학교를 방문하였으며, 마지막으로 106개교 교과교실제 담당교사를 대상으로 반구조화된 질문지를 마련하여 면담을 통해 교과교실제와 관련된 시설 운영 측면과 수업 운영 측면에 대한 조사를 실시하고 이를 종합하였다. 이를 바탕으로 연구진은 10여 차례의 집중작업과 전문가협의회를 통해 교과교실 운영의 핵심요소로 공간 특성(수업용, 교사용, 학생용)과 교과교실에서 이루어지는 수업 특성(블럭타임, 수준별 이동수업, 집중이수)의 총 6가지를 추출하였다. 또한 교과교실 운영 유형은 학교의 기본 시설을 중심으로 구분할 수 있다고 보아, ‘수업공간강화형, 교사공간강화형, 학생공간강화형’으로 대별하였다. 후자로 갈수록 시설을 더 충실히 갖추는 것으로 보았을 때, 이것은 학교 현장에서 교과교실을 도입․정착․발전시켜가는 순서이기도 하다. 이를 바탕으로, 각 학교는 주어진 여건을 종합적으로 고려하여 최적의 유형을 도입․발전시켜 나아가야 함을 제안하였다.
